Fantastic place on the Amalfi Coast. It sits high up on the cliff over looking the Mediterranean Sea. Our room was #213 which had excellent views from our terrace, The bed was comfortable, a/c and shower worked well and the room was kept quite clean. A small fridge in the room was handy (as they usually are). There is not much in the way of hotel "grounds". You can climb down a LONG flight of stairs to the sea where you will find an area with a small number of lounge chairs and a ladder into the water. This place was great and worth the climb. A few people however got there and had no chairs to sit in. There is not a lot of room, but a few more seats would be nice. Also, as you make your way down to the sea, there are a couple of more places with lounge chairs that are not at all near the water. Breakfast was continental and very good. Along with great views from the open air dining terrace. There is also indoor dining space for those who prefer. A tobacco shop right around the corner has snack items and you can also buy bus passes there. The bus stops directly in front of the hotel, very convenient. Concetta (hope I spelled that right) one of the girls at the front desk was very helpful with any questions about the area and getting around. This is a very nice place to stay. Beware, there are plenty of stairs, and almost all of the rooms are downhill from the lobby.
