“Eat here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

We didn't stay at this hotel but were lucky enough to eat here twice during our short trip to praiano. The food was first class. The service excellent and the host ( owner) was truly welcoming, very attentive to detail. We wholeheartedly recommend.

An excellent hotel with clean, large, bright room complete with view of the Isle of Capri. Very friendly family run establishment with good breakfast and dinners provided on our three night stay. The hotel is in a superb location, an easy drive from Sorrento, Pompei, Ravello and Salerno

You need only to look at the views on this hotel's website to fall in love with the place! The owners of this family-run hotel made me feel like a member of their family. Friendly, cheerful, helpful and an assortment of favorable comments too long for this space would only begin to do justice to this delightful hotel. But I cannot fully describe well enough the view from the dining room/terrace and the dinners they served! The view truly makes one believe in a heaven and the food made me want to propose to the chef (or hijack him and take him home with me). The staff will cheerfully arrange pickups and excursions, so pretty much all of your needs will be met. (It was a little too cold for the beach; and since I was busy working I do not know about some of the amenities listed by tripadvisor, but they should be on their website.) Be sure to make this a stop when you are in the area!!

We stayed at this hotel in September 2010. The hotel is nice with a good location (beautiful view of the sea and Positano). Tasty food.
But… the management is not client-orientated. Should you have any problem or complaint (regarding the room, cleanliness – for example: mold in the shower cabin; lack of hot water), don’t you dare to ‘disturb’ the manager. He might have a strange reaction (yell at you, turn his back to you and just walk away).
And... don’t forget to use the seif in your room (on our last day while we were at the beach, the room maid cleaned up our room… when we got back to the hotel, the door was opened…. We didn’t check if anything was missing… but… the next morning we observed that my purse was empty. Only CASH was stolen! Unfortunatelly, we didn’t use the seif!

I didn't stay at this hotel, but ate at the restaurant and it was excellent. The view on the patio overlooks the ocean, harbor, and Positano. At night, the lights in the harbor and on the mountainside are spectacular.

We happened to walk by the hotel while going into town for groceries and decided to return for supper. When we arrived at 7:30 pm, we were a little worried as there were no other diners there and we wondered if we had made a mistake in choosing this restaurant. It only started filling up at 8:30

My 2 boys had grilled steak, my wife had swordfish and I had the mixed local seafood platter. It was all excellent. In particular, I highly recommend the seafood platter which included grilled dorado, swordfish, calamari and assorted shellfish. It was delicious.

The service was outstanding - very gracious and welcoming. The waitress (who also seemed to be the manager) made sure my boys were looked after, offered them french fries with their meals, etc. In passing, I asked her how we would get down to the beach when we returned to town the next day. Rather than just explaining, she insisted on showing us. After our meal, she walked outside with us and showed us the entrance to the beach pathway.

4 meals including antipasti platter, no wine, 2 desserts, 100 Euros

Highly recommended.
