Description: The restaurant “da Gabrisa” offers a marvelous view of the sea, a comfortable and elegant atmosphere and a typical local cuisine, based on recipes of our culinary tradition.A careful research of the details is evident in the caring of the furnishing and in the chef’s daily gastronomic suggestions. Our cuisine is also very careful to a multiethnic customer, offering a different variety of vegetarian dishes, gluten free pasta or following specific diets on request.

“out of the way but quality and value make it worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

We found this restaurant our last day in Positano while walking and were very glad we did. We had a beautiful table outside with a stunning view. The menu was varied--not the typical first course pasta, second course meats/fish menu so typical in this area. Among the four of us we had beef, lamb, and risotto, with wonderful grilled vegetables to start. They have a wide variety of drink, Italian craft beers, and interesting desserts. They started us with a complementary appetizer of spinach and ricotta pie and also gave us complimentary cookies with the bill. Service was wonderful. This restaurant does not attract the crowds the restaurants down on the beach do, which is a shame, because the food is wonderful and the prices more reasonable. They also offered to send a car to pick us up (which we declined) and the hostess pointed us down some nearby stairs to shorten our walk back to the hotel. A lovely three hours. I highly recommend this place.

“da Gabrisa”

Small family restaurant. Fine look. Excellent interior. Traditional Italian and chef cuisine. Excellent choice of wines. Benevolent and high-quality service. In five days visited three times. I regret that found not at once

“Excellent cuisine in attractive surrounding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

Great Menu, knowledgeable hosts, nice wine selection. A very wide menu but will accommodate special requests. Large portions so do not over order. I recommend sharing in most restaurants in Italy. Would return should I get back to Positano.

“A Gem in Positano”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013 via mobile

Da Gabrisa is a gem in Positano. Located in the Fornillo section of the village, apart from the touristy spots, it not only offers a brilliant view of the sea but the food is wonderful! Brother & Sister team, Gabriele & Isabella, welcome you with warm smiles & great service. A great variety of fish, meat, pasta, risotto & vegetarian dishes plus a very robust wine list. From aperitivo to limoncello, I loved everything about Da Gabrisa. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Positano!!

“Lovely place for dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

Had one of the most delicious meal here for dinner. We had a whole fish and a risotto. Both were very very good. Service was also good. This place is closer to Fornillo side of town so if you're staying near the main beach/town centre, you would have to take the reddish/orange bus that goes around town. Doesn't take long on the bus (may be 10-15 mins the most). This restaurant is located next to Best Western Hotel (perhaps you could ask the bus driver to drop you off at Best Western Hotel?). Definitely recommend a meal here.
