4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Villa Fiorentino has a fabulous view & importantly is right on the bus stop when you want to come up from the centre of town & avoid the stairs.. We stayed as a family with 3 teenagers. Importantly there's WIFI plus There's a great alimentari & grocer across the road that will deliver to your apartment. Word of warning... be prepared for lots of stairs.. The hosts were helpful but not intrusive.. & arranged a terrific driver to take us back to Naples including a scenic tour & stop at Herculanium..

I have to apologize for this long overdue review of Villa Fiorentino. It’s difficult getting back into the swing of things after being on holiday for two weeks. Nevertheless, here it goes…

From the initial inquiries through to the booking and to making special requests in between (more on this later), Domenico never missed an email! And with this level of responsiveness, we knew from that moment that we would not be disappointed with our stay at Villa Fiorentino. We were given the La Primavera suite (perfect for our family of 4; 2 adults with 2 girls ages 6 & 9).

We checked in to Villa Fiorentino on July 20, 2013 (7 days & 6 nights). Despite the hike getting to our room (which we were prepared for based on the reviews posted), it was well worth it! Aside from the spacious two bedroom/two-bath suite, La Primavera offered a mini balcony that led straight out into our own terrace filled with lush plants that boasted the most picturesque views of Positano. These views were picture perfect!

La Primavera also had a kitchen stocked with the appliances one would expect to have in the US. We were able to make good use of the kitchen as my wife prepared several breakfasts & lunches here. Why trek to town while we can dine al fresco with the views right from our terrace? NOTE: the mini market is right across the Villa so you can stock up on food & drinks anytime you want.

Then there’s the pool…located at the top of the villa, you’ll be rewarded with the beautiful views and a nice breeze. The pool itself is very clean and refreshing.

Now for the best and most memorable part of our stay at Villa Fiorentino…

My wife and I planned our 2-week Italian Vacation Getaway to celebrate our 10th year wedding anniversary (our first week was spent in Tuscany). So as a surprise to her, I coordinated with Domenico & Paola to have our wedding vows renewed. Domenico was able to reserve the private terrace for us and assisted with finding an Officiate for the ceremony. Paola and the Villa Fiorentino staff decorated the banquet terrace and Paola was our private chef for the evening. Kudos to Paola for the delicious Italian cuisine she prepared (3-4 types of appetizers with a 3-course dinner). Needless to say, everything was executed flawlessly and it was simply one memorable evening.

Additional Pluses about Villa Fiorentino:
(1) The Fiorentino Family was very welcoming and hospitable. My wife had a chance to meet them and they just instantly made her feel like family.
(2) The Staff were very helpful and friendly; I give them props for lugging our luggage up and down all those steps!
(3) The rooms were always cleaned
(4) Location: it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the town center.

So the bottom line is that Villa Fiorentino comes highly recommended. If we find ourselves back in Positano, this is definitely the place to return to.

Thank you to the Fiorentino Family for helping make our vacation an unforgettable one.

My husband and I spent 4 amazing nights in the honeymoon suite in Villa Fiorentino (wish it was 4 weeks!).
It was our honeymoon so wanted to spoil ourselves, and that truly was an understatement as this place is what dreams are made of.
The suite was massive, and the views we woke up to every morning ...I still am pinching myself.
I loved that there were two bathrooms, one of the showers overlooked Positano.
The suite had everything you would ever need for your stay, including high speed wifi and channels from around the globe (not just BBC! which was a welcome change from the rest of europe).
The gorgeous private pool in our suite was again what dreams are made of, and we spent alot of our time in there overlooking the amazing view again.
We did also go into the infinity pool which all guests can use. This was a gorgeous pool with lots of deck chairs. Feels quite private too as there are only 6 apartments, it really adds to the experience.
A highlight was also the Fiorentino family. They made us feel at home, and were some of the nicest people we will be blessed to meet. Paola made some delicious chocolate pie for our welcome as well as organised for prosecco in our room when we arrived. A moment we will never forget is when Paola cooked an amazing 5 course meal on our private terrace, some of the best food we ate on our travels. Was so delicious, and so special!

The villa is close to everything, yet just far enough to be super quiet and romantic!
Postiano was one of our favourite places, and its because of Villa Fiorentino.

We were 3 couples that rented 3 apts. in the villa. Perfect that we all had our own space yet could easily be together up at the pool, or one of our balconies. Paola made us a light light and brought it up to the pool when we first arrived, that was the beginning of the stellar service we received.everything you may need is already there. Fully appliances kitchen and bath. No need for hair dryer or towels they are provided. The Sole was immaculate and beautiful. Cool and green and lovely. Great shower! The grounds were kept perfectly by the young men employed there. Anything that we wanted we could ask for( direction, suggestions,) was easily provided yet the staff kept themselves invisible as to not distract. Worth every penney and then some. I would have gladly plunked down another stack of money if we could have stayed another week. The Dr. showed me his fantastic garden too. Bonus! We ate everywhere and had our last night memorable meal at Max( also cooking classes) during which an impromptu song of ' Leaving on a Jet Plane' happened and other diners joined in too!

Room Tip: We all loved our own rooms .

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Fiorentino during the 2nd week of July. The property (including the rooms, pool, grounds etc.) is beautiful and I must say the owners and hosts of the property (Domenico and Paola) were phenomenal as well. The staff (Antonio at the reception desk) at the villa were so helpful before, during and after our stay with many different things, and the overall hospitality is much appreciated and will not be forgotten. To give a couple examples of how hospitable our hosts were, we received breakfast on the house a few mornings and they even took the time to mail our photo camera back after we left it in the room. We will make this our place to stay from now on when we visit Positano and would recommend it to any family and friends!!

We had a great 3 days stay in villa Fiorentino – Positano last week. The amazing hosts were so kind and nice to us, that made our stay feel at home. The house itself is wonderful – wide rooms, nice garden, great view of the city and sea and also the most impressive – infinity pool on the top of the hill  WoW  All this, including the perfect attitude of the host made our stay unforgettable. We arrived in the afternoon and got a light lunch at the pool including Campari and other refreshing drinks – great start of my Birthday  Paula was so kind to give me for a birthday present and memory - very nice handmade drawing of Positano  So touching! We got very good advices what to do and where to go as well. From the name of our Bulgarian group, I would like to thank her and her family for the great hospitality and time spent in villa Fiorentino. We’ll go back again 
