Taped music from a Mass in Latin created a prayerful and respectful atmosphere as you entered the church. There is a side altar dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Near the main door there is a glass panel and you can see through it to the crypt below.
I visited the Church just to see the Black Madonna. She was worth walking back up the hills to my ride back to Rome.
All churches in that area is beautiful . Specially the flowers at this time of the year as there are several weddings.
Well worth a look inside - beautiful, many weddings take place here for a reason! Great location almost on the beach ensures lots of photo opportunities.
