“One of Positano's hidden gems!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Absolutely a hidden gem of Positano. I would recommend this as a place to stay for sure in Positano. It is an old family home so very boutique & exclusive, yet close to everything. Peppe is your host & he is fantastic...... I can't imagine staying anywhere else now and will definitely return!

What was not to love about our stay at Peppes!
The family property is huge and has amazing views, a gorgeous garden and the best bit is there is hardly any stairs coming from the road, which is a major bonus when carry luggage or going to/from town. Another bonus is because there are only 3 or 4 rooms you feel like you have the place to yourself even when it's booked out, which it was during our stay.
We stayed in the Dublin suite which was all that was available at the time we booked and it was great. No full frontal ocean view from the room but as soon as you step outside to the huge balcony it's magnificent. Room was large with a big bathroom. Shower was great with good pressure (which is hard to find in Italy) and the towels and linen were also lovely!
Breakfast was basic but had everything you need and it was fantastic eating on the balcony with endless views each morning.

Peppe showed us great hospitality and was a wealth of information for anything and everything we wanted to see and do in the area.

If we stayed again we would try book the New York suite or if not the London as both have huge balconies with full frontal ocean views.

Don't think twice just hit book!!

I loved staying a Peppe'. My friend and I had been travelling around Europe for a month and Peppe's was like coming home. Peppe made us feel welcome from the start, we had a lovely room with two bunk beds and a large bathroom. The small grotto with a spa was wonderful after our busy day. Peppe's home is beautiful and we were welcome to use it as our home, many thanks Peppe, hopefully I will come back one day.

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here and it was perfect!!!!! Pepe is amazing. He helped us with where to eat, what to see. Our room was spectacular and the views were to die for. The room was large and spacious with our own balcony. We have only good things to say about our stay here. We hope to return.

Casa de Peppe is heavenly! Spectacular view and located in an area that is far away from the main area that it doesnàt feel super touristy as Positano seems to have become. TONS of Americans in August! Peppe is a fantastic host, loves Positano and wants to share with others. He is extremely hospitable, breakfast is nice and wonderful. You eat outside with a beautiful view of the sea... You feel that youàre at your own beautiful home. It didnàt feel like a hotel. I just felt like a rockstar coming home!

Pepe is really helpful.
The common area is very well done.
The rooms are spacious and afford beautiful views, and are comfortable enough, but the design is pretty lacking.
There is available parking very nearby and the place is a short walk/stair away from the parking and main road.
The breakfast could be a little better and the rooms can be a little nicer... all in all, for the price there should be a few more amenities. But at the end of the day, the place is real nice.

Love this place! Peppe was there curbside to help with our bags down the walkway and steps. (Note to Positano visitors: there is always a walk and always stairs : Always! Not a lazy persons town) the moment we entered the beautiful villa Peppe offered us refreshment and gave us a brief and pleasant overview of his home, collected payment as expected and then took the time to go into detail on Positano. He gave us explanations for how to get everywhere and gave great restaurant tips. We stayed 6 nights and slept awesome every one. Our room was always clean and appropriately stocked. Breakfast was just perfect to get you going. At least two of those nights Peppe personally called the restaurant we wanted to eat at and got us the best table. He also arranged for us a private boat to Capri and around the coast. ( This, if you are willing to spend, is the best way to do Capri and is SO WORTH IT.) We mentioned the name Peppe almost everywhere we went and received a smile and a " Hey! I know Peppe" , better yet most times got a discount.

La Casa di Peppe is a perfect, private stay, slightly off the beaten path. The perfect distance from the main road and directly connected to the stairs down to Fornillo beach. We loved our stay and will visit again.

Room Tip: Stayed in the New York Suite! Beautiful w/ Private terrace. View View View!
