I will return to Positano, and I will always stay at Conca d'Oro.I suppose one can't go wrong in Positano, but this is a special place.

Besides the views (to die for) and the excellent restaurant.(why eat breakfast or dinner anywhere ese but on the terrace?), the special thing about Conca is the staff. I was met with great friendliness on arriving. I had a few errands to run and I got all the help I needed.and more. Advice on getting around the town and the Amalfi coast? Just ask.

I mentioned the restaurant. The staff is superb, and a lot of fun, too.

These people are pros. You won't find a better place.

It's a lovely hotel with lovely balconies overlooking the sea. We had a ravishing time here and enjoyed every bit of it. The breakfast was delicious and a lot of options in the buffet spread. The terrace restaurant was really nice. The service was good too, when we told them that we were on our honeymoon they gifted us a bottle of champagne. My only complaint is that you have to climb a really steep and long staircase with no support and carry you luggage all the way up. No help is offered for carrying you bags and that can be quite a tiring affair. Especially after a long journey into Positano from Naples.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a balcony that has the best view.

I have stayed in Positano for a week in Hotel Conca d`oro.
Because I arrived to Naples in the evening only possibility to get there was by a taxi ordered by hotel staff.
The taxi can get to certain place and then you have to climb:).Luckily there was a porter waiting so he took care of the lagguage. That men deserve a good tip !!!! There is around 100 steps to the hotel so I wouldnt reccomend it to people with mobility problems or ederly people otherwise it is a good exercise :)
The room was very clean ,with balcony and had amazing view.Bathroom clean and nice.
But I must admitt that I was dissapoined that there wasn`t mineral water in the room.Of course you could go to the bar and buy it but mineral water is a kind of standard in most hotels.
For the breakfast you have nice choice of pastry and you can have continental brakfast .Coffee is delicious!
Staff at the reception desk if very friendly and helpful ,I mean all the staff is very friendly.
Hotel has a restaurant and 3 course dinner cost 35euros what is not that much comparing it with other restaurants where for one course you pay over 20 euros.Generally Amalfi coast is expensive. If you want to change cash in the bank they take commission about 10 euros!!!!
Anyway I did like the hotel and would reccomend it to anyone.

Room Tip: I ordered room with the view -superior so it had balcony with wonderful view. If it comes to quiet...

I recently stayed at Conca d'Oro and had the most amazing, relaxing vacation. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with lovely interior design and breathtaking views. I would recommend Conca d'Oro to anyone traveling to Positano, I loved every minute of my time spend there. Be prepared for a work out with all the stairs around town!

We recently had a wonderful stay at Conca D'Oro. The view of the sea from our room was magnificent and we made great use of our little terrace to enjoy it. The staff were super friendly and actually went out of their way to deliver a credit card we left behind to us in Sorrento. It's a sweet little spot perched at the top of this gorgeous village.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the sea and with a small balcony.

It's a 105 step climp to the hotel, but the view is worth it. I traveled by bus, and the staff gave me the local bus schedule and showed me where the bus stop was, and some shortcuts to it. The staff carried my suitcase up and then down the steps. Good breakfast with fresh pastries in a breakfast room with a view. In Feb only the beach restaurants were open, but a panini shop was nearby. The dresser had beautiful designs in the wood, the wardrobe was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. My hotel was reserved as Villa Principe Giovanni, which is the top floor of Conca d'Oro, and you need to know to be looking for Conca d'Oro. Quiet rooms with enough space. Large amount of library books from other travelers, in many different languages. Wi-fi worked fine.

Room Tip: Rooms on the fourth floor have a nice sized balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking Positano...
