İt is a lifetime experience. So amazing. The building itself, service, people, location...all is so nice.
Yes, it is a bit pricy place but it deserves all. This hotel has a soul. The one star michelin restaurant, the service and all other details make you feel very special.

Room Tip: i strongly believe, all rooms are good but try to have a room on the seaside. They have a small terr...

Another perfectly delightful hotel with wonderful staff, relaxing rooms and a view to die for.
If you want to get away from it all this is the place. They cater to your every need.
My husband and are retired now and relax to much so for us Sorrento with all of the activity is a better fit. This was the cleanest hotel that I have ever been in.

One of the best hotels in the world, certainly the best in the South of Italy.

Still owned by an aristocratic family with style. Each of the rooms are decorated by the owners with beautiful pieces from Christies and Sotheby's--not by a chains' corporate design arm.

Usual today, a fully staffed staff with enough maids and waiters to make everything click like the old days in Asia.

Fabulous food with a Michelin starred restaurant and 24 hour room service. Don't drive. Take a hired car from the airport as the curvy roads are a nightmare.

A quite outstanding hotel. Beautifully furnished with antiques, wonderful views and positioned with easy access to the beach. The service is first class. Three particular members of Le Sirenuse's staff are worth mentioning; Agatha and Leonardo on the front desk and Giuseppe in the restaurant. They were excellent hosts and made for a most convivial ambience. The boat trips are certainly an activity to undertake daily. La Sponda deserves its Michelin star. A local family restaurant maybe to try on a free night is Da Vincenzo, which is in walking distance, authentic and superb. A stay at Le Sirenuse is expensive but given the staff to guest ratio, quality of the F,F&E and overall service is quite understandable.

My wife and I stayed at Le Sirenuse for 2 nights in a sea view room. On arrival check in was very pleasant. We were escorted to our room with a quick tour of the hotel. The room size is more than adequate and the art and furniture are in a class not seen in hotels. The terrace opens to a spectacular view of the beach and vertical pastel houses seen on postcards.

We did eat in the hotels dining room. The candlelit room is graced by an amazing team providing the best in helpful courteous service. The waiters were extremely helpful picking from the creative menu. Prices are high but for an almost magical unforgettable experience I would highly recommend.

Le Sirenuse is truly one of the most special hotels in the world. There is nothing that doesn't fit... the staff, the decor, the service all work so well together. The staff is truly the best I've experienced. Everyone made you feel so welcome and the service was exceptional, but natural. From Leonardo, the most gracious concierge to Pepe who greeted us like old friends at breakfast we were made to feel at home.

Our room was wonderful with a large terrace and amazing view. The hotel offers many activities and we enjoyed 2 cruises and the olive oil tasting. The breakfast in the morning is lovely and served on the terrace. Don't miss dinner at La Sponda. It is magical.

Now this was a difficult review to write. Not sure whether to give it an average or v good rating. We stayed here at the end of September this year? The location was ideal, for us. 5 min walk down into the hub of Positano and its shops and beachside restaurants and harbour. We had a Superior Deluxe Sea view room on the 2nd floor with lovely views of the dome of the church and the whole town and the sea. We had 2 small balconies and a large living area with sofa and chairs, enormous bathroom and lovely bedroom area. Being on the 2nd floor was one floor down from the restaurant and as we were not by the pool it was peaceful and a 1 min pop up the steps to breakfast and dinner, once again ideal. Fabulous unobstructed views from the 2nd floor too.
We had lunch at La Sponda. Fabulous pasta dishes and local wine or champagne. Dinner was incredible. The best John Dory I've ever tasted. Hubby had veal which he said was excellent. The sommelier was extremely helpful with the choice of wine. The restaurant and the whole of Positano is just incredibly beautiful at night.
The pool and sunbathing area is right next to the restaurant which was fine up to a point. The pool wasn't too cold by the way in fact perfect temperature and stunning.
The negative parts were as follows: on arrival there was a good 25min wait for luggage that got stuck somewhere down in the harbour area but at least it arrived! The room was lovely but it smelt a little peculiar. Still not sure what it was exactly. The sunbathing area and pool was great but so many 'pop'-in visitors to "just use the toilet" or a "drink" got a little much. By 5 pm the tables by the pool and bathing area had become gridlocked by non residents which is great but it just looked and felt ostentatious !
We used the gym once which was very nice but they need air-conditioning desperately. Running for 25 mins was difficult as it was so muggy in there.
Sadly the following nights dinner (which must have been a completely different kitchen), presented me with a different John Dory dish ( I ordered the same dish as previous night as it was gorgeous). Dried out and accompanied by undercooked 'side orders'. I eventually got my meal 1hr later, 45 mins after my husbands. Not the John Dory but a spaghetti dish as the fish I was told to redo would take 40 mins. After 35 mins I asked the maitre d about my dish, he never came back to report where it was! 10 mins later I asked the other maitre d (who were both delightful and not their fault) and he did come back. It seemed the chef was annoyed! Finally the pasta did turn up. It was very good. Everyone was apologetic but for La Sponda and its reputation as world class this was poor.
The following morning for breakfast I ordered toast but after 25 mins I thought it was Groundhog Day again....... After 40 minutes we left, with our delivered to our table, newspaper (nice touch). apparently the toast was being 'freshly made'. Quite frankly I just wanted a normal piece of hot toast to have some of the yummy jams on but it never happened! Complacent or arrogant or just dated? It was nice but something was missing here at the hotel but adored Positano!

Room Tip: You still get fabulous views and peace and quiet in rooms away from the pool area.
