“great food,great view, great fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

You need a ride to the restaurant? No problem, they send the guy who makes the pizza to pick you up and his father the senior pizza maker to take you back to your hotel. The restaurant is in a tiny village atop the mountain above Positano. The view into town at night is beautiful. The food was fantastic. Save room for dessert. Fun place with the owner circulating to make sure you love your meal. We went two nights in a row it was so great. Talking to the owner it seems that his boyhood friend moved to Philly where we live and opened a well regarded restaurant Positano. We took Costantino's picture and promised to send his regards to his friend. A must go when in Positano.

“Our local restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Staying just down the road, this was our local eating place. We went twice. On the first, midweek, it was quiet and we had the window seat with the amazing view of Positano. The service was excellent and friendly and the food was home style Italian, right down to the owner's apricots from his garden. It was busier on Saturday, but the standard of food remained excellent, even if the service was a bit more chaotic. I would thoroughly recommend it.

“Terrible service.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

We had this restaurant recommended by our hotel and we were very disappointed.

We had an abrupt and almost rude old waiter, who preferred drinking glasses of champagne with other tables, they turned their nose up when we didn't eat bruschetta we didn't order and then charged us for limoncello we also didn't order.

Perhaps we got them on a bad night.

Food was just ok.

“True Italian Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

So impressed by the food, view and service. Our tour guides got us the best table in the house overlooking Positano. We ordered the prosciutto & mozzarella, spaghetti, and a calzone. All were incredible. A true Italian restaurant, with authentic food and fantastic service. Would recommend this place to anyone! Positano is the best :)

“The food, the view, the owner: Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Our hotel (La Fenice) recommended this restaurant, and advised us that they provided a shuttle to and from the restaurant for free. We went their twice, and both times were excellent. The owner is very personable, and the first night we left the choices up to him and we ate several courses served family style (pasta, salad, fresh fish, dessert, limoncello). The second night I had some of his wife's homemade pasta, and it was heavenly. If I am lucky enough to return to Positano, I will visit this restaurant again. The view is outstanding as well.
