“Amazing meal, entertainment and value!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

We have never posted a review on trip advisor, probably because we have never felt so passionate about an experience!! This place is a must go to if you are in Positano!! Firstly they pick you up at your hotel and return you for free and it's a beautiful drive up into the mountains of positano. Once you arrive the family that owns and operates the family business greets you with the warmest, kindest welcome. Then the tables- probably the best views in all of positano!! Beautiful. But then the food comes- briscetta, antipasto, then another course, then another course, homemade pasta!! Then Amazing beef, chicken. The dessert was all homemade and was the tastiest!! Mama was in the kitchen cooking, papa assisted and their adult son running the tables with other staff. The whole time they bring you bottles (yes more than one) of endless wine, sparkling water bottles and a glass of their homemade limoncello at the end of the meal. Several courses of the most tasty food, all homemade, and to top it all off we were there on a Tuesday night which is music night and a woman sang traditional italian songs with music and audience participation. It was like a huge italian private party with family and the best food you can imagine. And the bill- a price fix menu of just 35 European person. What an amazing deal. You get so much for such a small cost. Mama, Vincenzo, papa, all so sweet!! We highly recommend this place!! Natalie

“OHhhh SOOOO Delicioso!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Our group of 12 cruise travelers had a table reserved here by our tour company, and I have to say it was one of the high points of not just that day, but our entire 15 day Med cruise. First the setting... pure heaven, absolutely breath-taking. We sat under a canopy outdoors up at the top of Positano. No sooner were we seated, than they began bringing out dish after dish after dish.... breads, beans, potatoes, salads.. and so many more, all fresh and organic and produced right there on site.

We thought that was the meal.. but noooo.. then came the pasta... the best i've ever had. This was all served with unlimited wine and water and a delicious taste of their own house-made limoncello.. The modest price of 25 euros was an incredible value. i would have paid that for the view alone.... with a glass of wine.

I can't recommend this little slice of heaven highly enough. Go there!

“An Unforgettable Authentic Italian Dining Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

I can't express my boyfriend and I's simply unforgettable experience at La Tagliata! Everything from the food, the service, the views, the ambiance, the attention to every detail, so on and so forth was beyond impressive. We unfortunately had to arrive to dinner a bit later than expected, but the staff welcomed us with open arms and treated us so warmly. This authentic-Italian experience is one to remember forever. If you're visiting Positano, there's no question that you pay them a visit, preferably for dinner so you can soak in the sunset views!

“Amazing food & hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Reading excellent reviews on Trip Advisor, we landed here for dinner. First impression - warm welcome by the staff (who are family members).
We were told about the restaurant - that all ingredients are organic & homegrown. Regret not coming here for lunch, to see their farm.
Thereafter the service started - and it was one tasty dish after another - and all a set menu. By the time we were half way, we were so stuffed. The server was very caring & he explained to us about each of the dishes ...
Highly recommended in case you are in Positano/Amalfi ... one of the best meals I had in Italy !
Overall, an amazing experience of tasty Italian cuisine & Italian warmth & hospitality !!
