“Wonderful restaurant up in the hills”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

It's really in Montepertuso, but they have a shuttle service which will collect you from Positano, and drop you back. Or the frequent buses from Positano to Montepertuso and Nocelle will get you there. It has three areas - outside in the square, outside on the terrace, and inside. The latter two are fancy, and the former informal. We had lunch on the square and (different day) dinner on the Terrace. It's a beautiful and romantic place, and the food is absolutely exceptional. We're both vegetarian but had no problem finding food to choose. On our second visit my wife wanted the risotto I had previously, which was off the menu as the risotto changes daily, but they were very happy to make that particular risotto especially for her. As mentioned elsewhere it's family run, and the service couldn't be more friendly. What a wonderful restaurant.

“Delicious food and impeccable service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

The restaurant is a bit off-center from Positano, but it is a little escape from the crowds! We ate well and we got the right! The place has a free shuttle reservation. Very convenient and useful. From the center of Positano can be reached by local bus

“Best Food of Our Italian Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2014

This is a family owned and loved restaurant. You can literally see the love going into the food preparation because you can see the mother and the daughter cooking in the kitchen. And the kitchen is spotless!!!!! This was our second time there and we were equally pleased with the food and the fabulous wine selection. It was truly our favorite meal in Italy!

“So good so far but so worth the effort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2014

Recommended by hotel and picked up by taxi paid by restaurant. Family owned. Mother owns sister is chef and son waiters. Ambience good since you are Miles up the mountain in a suburb of maybe 900 folks and the room off to the side is so personal and so upscale. Food is four stars and well prepared and presented. Risotto crazy good. And fish is properly cooked just to tender and with just right amount sauce or flavoring. Wine selection simple and fair. Not great wine choices given European setting but this is southern Italy and white predominates and is fairly good. Service personal so good feel. Experience of riding high along curving roads with food at the ending is worth the adventure

“Worth the ride up the hill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

We dined here to celebrate a birthday recently. It is a very small and intimate restaurant. Service is excellent. The restaurant were kind enough to provide transport from our hotel in Positano and back free of charge. The food is very good. I would recommend for a special occasion or romantic evening. Shame that it doesn't have views as then it would have the whole package
