We stayed at the hotel for three nights in May 2012. The hotel is very nice and luxurious, no doubt, but in my eyes overpriced. We booked a room rate without breakfast and then had to pay 70 Euros extra for breakfast for two people! The next day we had breakfast outside of the hotel... Also the prices for room service are ridiculous.
The other thing is, Porto Cervo in May is pretty much a dead place, and everywhere else we went in Sardinia there was a lot more life and good value for money.

This is a really lovely hotel in a beautiful resort setting with lots of expensive shops. The room was excellent and the service could not be faulted. The bar was extremely comfortable with the view over the Porto Cervo Piazza from the outside tables and a singer and pianist entertaining every night. The hotel has it's own private beach reached by launch although when we went there had been storms so it was not at its best. The restaurants were very nice but the same menu was served in both the main restaurants. Also the menu was not very imaginative but this could have been because it was the end of the season. My only concern was the cost of the drinks in this hotel. A typical bottle of wine was around €70, a bottle of beer €14, a cocktail €30 and a small bottle of Coke €15 which I thought was a bit high, no wonder the bar was empty whenever we went in there. Provided this is not a problem this is a recommended hotel to visit.

My wife and I have been holidaying here for 16 years. We return regularly to "our home in Sardinia" for the exemplary and professional yet friendly service at the hotel. It has a relaxing and stunning setting in the centre of the chic village of Porto Cervo . One can sunbathe by the beautiful inner courtyard pool but be literally only a few steps from one of the most exclusive shopping areas in the world with all the top European fashion houses being represented. The hotel offers spacious rooms, most of which have a private terrace or balcony, which are very tastefully decorated. The hotel's private beach is reached by their own launch which is a real treat.There are several associated bars and restaurants to cater to all tastes from a great pizzeria to the fine dining of "the grill". Our favourite bar is the "Cervo" which boasts a fabulous situation overlooking the village piazetta and has tasteful live music which enhances the setting. I recommend their Bellini which surpasses even that of the famous "Harry's Bar" but their mixologist can conjure up any cocktail you might wish for. We cannot wait for our next visit!

I went with my girlfriend Tina and my baby Teresa to the hotel bar to get a cofee and two glasses of water.
no prices were exposed.

they charged us 32€
I complained saing that cofee has fix price in italy and they told me they don't need people like me in their hotel.
I paid and replied that Italy don't need people like them!
