“A hidden gem”

Tenuta di Piece a Celle is a wonderful place to unwind and relax - if you can find it! We recently spent five very happy days here. On the road out of Pistoia to Montagnan (SP17), it is run by the wonderful Fiorenzia with help from her husband Cesare. Five comfortable and lovely en suite bedrooms are in a separate building from their house close by. B&B for 160 euros per couple. A three course dinner superbly cooked by Fiorenzia is 30 euros a head + fine local wine at 15 euro a bottle. Great swimming pool, lovely grounds with more than 700 olive trees, mimosa, geraniums and many cypress trees. Can't be recommended enough!

Room Tip: Mimosa is probably the best but Geranio good too.

Couldn't have had a more perfect spot for the first stop on our Italian honeymoon. Friendly, relaxed, lovely views, and an amazing dinner! We loved hanging out by the pool, a lovely breakfast on the terrace and a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

My husband and I had one lovely night here in September. The property is beautiful, with a lovely pool and sun loungers - gorgeous views of surronding countryside.

The bedroom was small ish but very sweet, tastefully decorated, with lovely furniture and crisp bed linen.

We opted to have dinner at Tenuta di Pieve a Celle, and weren't disappointed. Florenza is a marvellous cook, very talented.
We started with ribbon pasta with wild mushrooms, then the most delicous pork fillet which had been marinated in spices and cooked medium rare servied on a bed of lettuce leaves, fennel and segments of orange, and finished the meal with a semi fredo.

Hosts & their sweet Golden Retrievers were all lovely and so welcoming.
I hope we'll find an opportunity to visit again - we'll certainly be recommending to others!

Wonderful hosts share their Tuscan estate with guests. Live among Olive groves and vineyards. Only 5 rooms so you are treated as extended family. Meals were excellent - Fiorenza uses all fresh ingredients many from the estate and their wine is also available. The rooms are large, comfortable with large beds and the bathrooms larger than most Italian hotels. Location is central to Northern Tuscany. Train from Pistoia is 20 minutes to Florence and driving to Siena, Chianti, Lucca, Pisa etc. within an hour. We will stay with them again.

This place was beautiful, charming, and cozy. 3 adorable dogs greeted us as soon as we pulled into the driveway, the grandma Julie, the mom Oga(I think) and the daughter Viola. We loved all of them! The rooms are spacious, well maintained and WIFIed;-) The hosts are very gracious, which made a huge difference from staying at a hotel.
And the food, all homemade, all organic and the taste were unreal! The olive oil was extracted in house; the tomato was fresh pick from the garden, etc. It was amazing. The breakfast on the patio was so beautiful!
We certainly had a great time there and will for sure go back on our next trip to Tuscany!

My wife and I stayed at Tenuta di Pieve a Celle for the last two nights of our 2012 Tuscany vacation. It was splendid. The rooms were beautiful. The setting of the hotel was perfect. The hostess and host were gracious. We had two wonderful dinners outdoors on the property. We couldn't have thought of a better way to end our vacation.

This is a wonderful place to visit. We stayed for 3 nights and each night we ate a wonderful dinner in the beautiful setting, on the terrace at Tenuta di Pieve a Celle. Cesare and Fiorenza are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the beautiful bedrooms, lovely grounds, peaceful atmosphere and delicious dinner and breakfast created by Fiorenza. We felt very much at home and relaxed. My favourite things about it were the wonderful food, relaxed atmosphere, glass of wine on the terrace before dinner and the fresh flowers in the bedroom! Will definitely be visiting again. Best for those looking for quiet nights and a beautiful setting.
