“Lovely stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

This is an amazing villa on the outskirts of Pistoria. If you want to explore the northern part of Tuscany, this can be a great base as it is close to forte dei Marmi (one of the most fashionable beach resort towns in Italy), Montecatini Terme, Lucca, Florence. All is within one hour drive.
The Villa has gone through a 2 year renovation and is absolutely stunning. The architect has done a great job retaining the old charm and adding modern living luxury. Paola and Paolo are the lovely owners of this place. Every morning a lovely and well chosen breakfast is served in the orangeria next to the Villa by Paola. Her eyes for details are admirable.
We booked our apartment 4 days after they opened the villa in July when I couldn't find a single review over the entire internet. We were so glad we chose this place. It is absolutely a unique experiece to stay in a villa so stupendous. Try la sala del Camino and try this place in summer. I am sure you will fall in love with it.

Room Tip: La Sala del Camino is the best room in the villa

Second time in a few months and I can only confirm that Parri Villa is better than a Hotel.
Quality, courtesy, beauty, ease ...
Rooms are large, bright and furnished with great care.
Swimming pool and Jacuzzi area ... fantastic location for a drink or a snack.
The breakfast is really SUPER ... based on local products
Thank Villa Parri.
I'll be back soon.

Everything and more that you can expect from your stay in beautiful Tuscany.
We stayed in Villa Parri for 4 nights during October 2013 and it was the best place. The Villa is in Pistoia which is 30 minutes from Firenze. The Villa is allocated on a mountain and it's outstanding and peaceful. The garden is big and relaxing and the landscape is breathtaking.
The Villa was opened just a few months ago and it was designed and decorated in good taste, stylish and high quality. The room is beautiful, modern, comfort and clean, the kitchen provides everything a person can ask (even a dishwasher).
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Simone and Paula, the owner, were amazing - friendly, helpful, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a good time. Simone gave us good information about Pistoia and recommendations of good restaurants.
We will definitely visit Villa Parri on our next visit in Tuscany.

We adored staying at Villa Parri. The Villa is stunning. So sad that we could only spend 2 nights in our gorgeos apartment with the most beautiful view of the valley. Our room looked onto the back but the attached kitchen had 4 huge windows you could open and look out over the breathtaking Tuscan valley- just lovely to enjoy when you come in from the pool to eat nibbles before taking a shower.

Simone was so helpful and very attentive when we arrived and for anything we needed throughout the 2 night stay. All the information you will need for your stay is in a great little welcome book in your room.

The villa was spotless and beautifully decorated to a really high standard without being gaudy or over the top. We had everything we needed. They have only been open 2 months so as much as I want to rave about the villa I also want to keep it all to myself!

I'm already planning to take over the whole place with my extended family at some point in the next couple of years. And this place would be just perfect for weddings.

It is 7k to Pistoia where we ventured for dinner for a night. Not another tourist in site in Pistoia which is delightul! You can hire bikes at the villa and cycle there. We had a hire car and being only an hour from Pisa, right in the centre of Tuscany, it is so well placed to explore the region and see some beautiful scenery - it literally is the most perfect place to stay.

Bit sad we didn't go to the Grotto thermal spa's which are nearby but we couldn't pull ourselves away from the pool for the day that we permitted ourselves to relax.

The breakfast was so beautiful with the most amount of jams/ chutney's/ cheeses/ meats/ honeys/ pastries you could ever want. We had ours in the outdoor seating bit because the weather was so mild.

Please go, please enjoy.

Room Tip: We had a beautiful one bed apartment which had huge windows out to the valley. Can't remember th...

A truly beautiful historic villa. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the gorgeous apartments and could not have been happier, and wished we had stayed longer. The gentleman on reception was so very helpful and accommodating, and not forgetting Paula (?owner) and her daughter who were both lovely. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, beds very comfy. We enjoyed the vast gardens, swimming pool and jacuzzi. We can only hope that when we book again that there is availability, as I am sure as Villa Parri becomes more known it will be very popular.

This is the most beautifull villa I've ever been to & seen. This is a perfect place if you stay in Tuscany few days - close to Firenze and Lucca/Piza as weel. The rooms are beautiful (more beautiful then pictures on booking presenting the villa). My room was the smallest one (le coccinelle - abt 20 sq m) but it was comfortable enought, really stylish, beautiful, new and very clean (as the whole villa). The area is magnicifient and the pool gives you fresh touch when it's hot ( i can't imagine go to Tuscany to place without a pool) . The breakfest is very delicious continental with a twist of italian style - proscciutto, mozzarella, cheeses, sweet marmolande, fresh fruits etc...). But the villa, the area, the pool would be nothing without the... Owners and stuff- they are really nice and friendly and they are always ready to help you.

Highly recommended.
