We visited Norcia for 2 nights and happened to stumble onto this restaurant by chance and after talking to the owners decided to dine here the following night since the first night was covered by the tour we were on. friendly and hospitable were the first impressions. When we arrived the following evening Mauro and Daniela's daughter Emiliagna sat us down. A great house wine and exqusite cold cuts on the house followed. We started with a duo of gnocchi and tagliatelle followed by a pork chop bathed in an apple cream sauce and a steak both with truffles yummmm...
We desserted with a crostata and a creamy plum dessert both were unique and out of this world. All through the evening we felt as though we were dining alone but the place was full with locals and foreigners alike. We had reservations for 7:30 pm we left at 12:30 am that should tell you what the experience was!
