Idyllic. Welcoming. Accommodating. Delicious. Outstanding . . . adjectives that perfectly describe Villa Cicolina and their staff. In October 2012, my husband and I got married in Montepulciano. Based on the beautiful pictures of the villa and the surrounding area, we decided that Villa Cicolina would be "home base" for our wedding. Our immediate families were a part of this trip so we booked two rooms (Il Balcone, Lavigna) and the private cottage. From the moment we reached out to the villa to book our rooms we knew we had chosen the best place to get married and spend a wonderful week in Tuscany.

You can definitely tell the owners strive to make Villa Cicolina the best stay in Tuscany. The attention to detail is remarkable. The villa rooms are beautifully decorated and super clean. The views from the upper rooms are breathtaking. Every morning, the villa florist is on site making fresh floral arrangements for every room in the villa. The grounds are immaculate. The gardener is there around the clock, tending to the grounds. I mean when you consider that it's a 19th century structure, it is so well maintained.

When it comes to the staff, again the owners are making sure they have the best. Everyone is so welcoming and really go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I can't say that I've stayed anywhere else where I've felt so at home.

The food at the on-site restaurant is outstanding. Our wedding reception far exceeded our expectations. Our pasta was handmade that morning by Mimmo!

This isn't your typical 5-star experience because it's not "big-box" five star but Villa Cicolina is a five-star place that is authentic. If you want to experience the best of Tuscany, choose Villa Cicolina as your home base. You will not be disappointed!

We enjoyed and celebrated our Wedding at Villa Cicolina and must say that everything at this wonderful old Villa was perfect. The house keeping, front desk, manager, owner, food and my favorite Romanian guy that does everything including taking care of the entire property who also dons a suit and drives us to the church was beyond expectations.

Rooms were perfect, clean and roomy. This was all accompanied by the beautiful landscape that makes Villa Cicolina. If you're looking to get married here contact Italia Celebrations owned and operated by Brenda Babcock. She fits your budget and doesn't miss a beat. Otherwise, this Villa is a must.

My Wife and I stayed at Villa Cicolina during our honeymoon. The property was beautiful. Our secluded cottage was the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. The food was amazing. We took a cooking class our first night which was very fun. Sayed was there to assist us throughout our stay and Aliyah hand picked the perfect vineyards for us to visit and arranged everything. Our only regret is that we could only stay two nights, this place deserves a week or more! We'll be back someday!!!

Set in the Tuscan hills with stunning views over looking Montepulciano Villa Cicolina is a beautiful 11 room villa set in fabulous grounds with a spectacular swimming pool. We stayed for three nights in a gorgeous room called Montepulciano that was spacious and charmingly Italian. Delicious home cooked Tuscan food and attentive and very helpful staff. We loved it.
