So many great choices we ended up picking 5 appetizers / primas (first courses) so we were sure to sample each seasonal/fresh item that struck our fancy: Gratined anchovies with fresh tomatoes and pecorino cheese; Octopus salad with lemon sauce; Boiled squids with
artichokes seasoned with olive oil and lemon sauce; Toasted bread with leek’s cream ,fresh anchovies and balsamic vinegar. And anchovies are not at all the little salty things we find curled in a can with capers - they are robust, fileted, thinly sliced and draped on very fresh bread with toppings and spreads. The pastas are of course made right there. You will see many happy locals - not touristy in the least. And always service with a BIG smile.
