We stayed at Il Casalone in September 2012. It is an absolutely beautiful place to stay in Tuscany. Paolo, Gino and Mirella are most welcoming and thoughtfully provide lots of lovely condiments and utensils in the apartments, including great coffee and espresso pot. The apartment rooms are exquisitely decorated, you walk in and go 'Wow, I'm really in Tuscany!' There is a pool, barbecue area, recycling, a little vegie garden, you are living within a farmstead. It really is awesome. It's about a 5 minute drive to the village of Montepulciano which is also delightful, and you can do trips to nearby places such as Pienza. If you want a farmstay (agriturismo) in Tuscany then I highly recommend Il Casalone.
