“"Okay" is the best way to describe it”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

I recently visited this hotel for five days. The room was of a reasonable size and the pool was nice and well kept.
We did, however, have a lot of problems with the hotel. When we arrived, our door was broken so all our cases were locked in the room. It took upwards of five hours for the issue to be fixed. Although, the reception staff were very understanding and did everything the could, as they had to outsource someone to fix the issue.

Dining at the hotel also brought issues. The food was average but this was not the main cause for concern. There was a single lady in charge in almost the entirety of the service and I must say, she was one of the rudest people I've ever had the displeasure of being served by. She made anything she was required to do seem like an effort and generally made the dining experience very uncomfortable.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was average. It served its purpose but the experience was nothing out of the ordinary

Very clean, comfortable, rich breakfast for Italian standart, next door to the Police Office.
The owner of the hotel and the manager Michele were perfect and helpful. My warm regards to you from Sofia. Vi ringrazio e a presto, Boris

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and found it very cosy and clean. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious, breakfast is rich (for Italian hotels), dinner perfect (especially primo piatto) and location central (3 minutes from main square and train station). What more one can desire? Oh yes, the staff is very polite and helpful.

Our family stayed here for a week in july and had a great time at this hotel.

Room: We had a room with balcony overlooking the pool. The room itself was ok, and the aircondition was good. There was a small fridge that you could use.

Location: The hotel was located three blocks from the main street, and a short walk to the park. The location is ideal for short trips to Firenze, Lucca, Pisa etc.

Restaurant: The food was very good! We ate breakfast and the three courses dinner in the restaurant each day. There was a choice between three starters and three main courses.

Swimmingpool: The swimmingpoolarea was very great. Our daughters (age 3 and 7) loved to swim in the pools after a day of seightseeing. It was very clean and spacious.

Service: The staff was very friendly and serviceminded!

Thank you for giving us such a nice time at your hotel!

Excellent stay all round The owner of this hotel cant do enough to help make you stay comfortable! Location was great just off the main street but on a leafy quiet road walking distance to everything including a very convenient train service to Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Swimming pool was a bonus.

Bedroom was comfortable but the mattress was exceptional!

I must say I really enjoyed this hotel and it suited our purposes to have a mid-budget accommodation as a base for our excursions to Pisa, Florence and many other attractions in northern Tuscany. The owner Pietro was extremely helpful with both our requests at the hotel and recommended great places to visit in excellent English. Most of the staff spoke good english, which was very much appreciated, but if you wanted to communicate with most of the maids or the serving staff, you had to know italian.
The hotel room had, in the same way as most traditional Italian hotels, an older standard with tiled floors but the bathroom was completely renovated and very fresh. The Hotel had a nice and clean pool and even a spa area with different kinds of relaxing water massages. The restaurant served a typical continental breakfast and 3 course italian dinner with both international and niceTuscan dishes.
This Hotel was our home for a week and Pietro really made us feel welcome at all times. I highly recommend to stay here.
