Walkingdistance to the old city in Mestre. You can buy bustickets, tourtickets and gondola tickets on the reception and they have a Venice-citymap for you !!

We stayed here for one night, and used it as a base to visit Venice.

Arrived with no reservation, but that was no problem.

The room was very pleasant, the bed was very comfortable, I thought the room could maybe do with a lick of paint.

The staff were extremely helpful, and we got bus tickets to Venice at the reception.

There was free secure parking.

Breakfast was fantastic.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Me and my friends stayed in Hotel Cris for three nights. The hotel is small, but very nice and pleasant, very clean and comfortable. Towels were changed every day. You have all necessary amenities there: hairdryer, safe in the room, free wi-fi, private parking for those with car. And it's not expensive.
Breakfast was decent and delicious. Bus station is 2-3 minutes from the hotel. The train station, although they say is 4 min away (maybe if you are a fast walker), it's actually 7-8 min. normal walk. But still, it's not far.
In the hotel they sell tickets to and for Venice. Bus costs 1.30 eur one way if you buy it in the hotel or some tobacco, and 2.50 eur if you buy it in the bus. It's 20 min drive to Venice.
The water bus costs 7 eur in one direction, so it's better to buy a daily ticket that costs 18 eur, and you can drive around Venice by boat. The bus from Mestre to Venice is also included in the daily ticket.
If you plan to visit Murano island and see the glass blowing, you better do it before 5 o'clock, because after that, they are closed.
At the end, if you want to see more of Venice, I recommend at least 2 whole days.

The hotel was above our expectations. Great price, extremely clean and comfortable, pleasant rooms and baths. Very conveniently placed, near train station, restaurants and supermarkets. The parking is a little crowded in weekend.
