“Good value for money. Convenient”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon trip to Venice. The hotel is very convenience and clean. The service of staff is very good. They prepared a map to us and we can take bus to Venice within 15 minutes. The hotel also offered airport pickup with a private van with a reasonable cost. We used this service because we had a lot of baggages. On the other hand, we found out that we can also take an airport bus directly to the front door of the hotel. We can also buy bus tickets and day pass from the hotel reception counter. The breakfast is very good including hams, cheese, croissants, yogurts, eggs and very nice coffee. There are some small shops around the hotel with the walking distance less than 5 minutes and you can buy some food and drinks there.

Good location; not too far from the bus stop for Venice. The room was far too hot and no matter how much we tried to turn the heating down; it didn't work... which meant we were waking up in the middle of the night too hot!

The rooms were very stylish, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly; although the receptionist who checked us in sent us round the streets of Venice looking for the bus stop at a very dark 7pm and we didn't feel very safe. After a 30 minutes searching; we finally found the bus stop! The breakfast was the one thing that let the hotel down. Poor from start to finish. Poor quality produce with very little choice I'm sad to say. If I was going to stay here again; I would just have breakfast out each day!

Not that we tend to watch the tv much when we go away, but the English channels were extremely limited in the room and had to resort to watching a programme on our phone to try and drift off to sleep; but that's our personal preference. I would consider staying again; especially because the rates were reasonable.

Room Tip: check the heating from the start and request a room change if you are not happy. We didn't and t...

Note that we came here in May 2013, not 2014

The best priced and available hotel for us in Venice was outside of Venice. We stayed at Elite Residence and what a nice hotel it was. The room was straight to the point and quite trendy with an almost office feel to it. The bathroom was very modern with a transparent look about it.
To get into Venice we had to take a bus which lasted around 15 minutes. Once we worked out how to get there it was no longer an issue.

As good as the hotel was, if you are planning on going Venice, get a hotel IN Venice.

The staff at Elite were spot on and helped us get around and answer any and many questions i had.

Can't say I can complain outright, everything was very nice, rooms were comfortable, cool green light in the shower that lit the bathroom up. My angst would probably be towards the bizarre hose like hairdryer they had in there, and the super value toilet paper.
The dinning area was very cozy and very nice waiters. And an excellent menu selection with probably the best prices I have found in all of venice... again my only qualm here is not with the hotel itself but probably italy itself... use fresh mushrooms! All I saw on my trip around is tinned salt/brine water mushrooms... It's just vile... everything else was fine :)
The hotel was very well laid out and had a separate breakfast room in the lowest level along with a gym.
Overall a very nice place to stay when visiting venice. And the number 12 bus to Venice is only 5 min away behind the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. I did not want to have to worry about trying to move luggage around narrow Venice streets at 6 am trying to make it to the airport in time. Also, it's much more affordable than most of the hotels located in downtown Venice.
We were able to check in at 12pm. The staff was friendly and helpful - they offered advice on how to get to the island of Venice and to the airport. We bought a day pass for the regular bus and waterbuses for 20 euros each, and we definitely got out money's worth. It only took about 10 or 15 minutes to get to Venice from the hotel; it wasn't very far at all.
-The room was very nice and clean. It wasn't a full queen bed though, just two twins pushed together (seems to be a trend in Europe). The bathroom was spacious and modern and the shower had plenty of hot water pressure. Be sure to push your room key into the slot in the wall and close the windows if you want the AC to work. We were unaware of this and had to ask the front desk a few times why the AC wouldn't work before they finally told us we had to have the key in the wall.
-The Wi-Fi is free during your stay but while we were there, it was very, very slow.
-Would stay again if visiting Venice.

Instead of booking a hotel in Venice which we originally planned, this was, by far the smartest thing we did during our three week vacation in Italy. Mestre is just a bus ride away into Venice, the bus stop just a few hundred meters away from the hotel. The hotel even offers day passes for 48 or 72 hours where you can avail of boat rides in and around Venice and bus rides into Venice and back. The rooms were modern, wifi is accessible in all rooms, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast, although good, was very noisy because of the location. The hotel is nearby a Michelin star restuarant which comes highly recommended. So, instead of dragging all your luggages into Venice, which is not handicap friendly, the expenses on water taxis, not to mention the mob of tourists in and out of Venice, this is absolutely an alternative way to travel and see what Venice has to offer: hassle free.

The hotel location is very good. The hotel is only 10 minutes bus ride from the island of Venice. I hope you enjoy walking as it is the best way to see the city of venice. Venice is not a wheelchair friendly city because of all the bridges.
