I stay at the hotel one night (07.04.2013 til 08.04.2013) The hotel is well located close to the Mestre railway station. The hotel is in a side street about 2/3 minutes walk. To get into Venice take the train which runs approximately every 10/12 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at any tobacconist (this avoids the long queues in the station) and cost €1.50 one way.
The rooms are new and comfortable. I parked the car at hotel yard after the gate. Breakfast really good for such a small hotel; food replenished frequently and freshly made tea/coffee was there.
Wi-fi is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge' .It is provided with a daily code for each device.
For me it was the most friendly hospitality I met in Italy …
I will definitely recommend the Hotel Paris to anyone traveling to Mestre or Venice.

Room Tip: friendly and hospitality

This hotel is very easy to locate and is within easy walking distance of the railway station. We were greeted in a warm, friendly manner. The rooms were very much up-to-date and clean. The manager told us we could eat our breakfast outside if the weather was nice. The next morning there was a table set for us outside, and we had a very nice breakfast. Our stay made a favorable impression, and I am only sorry that we were staying there for only one night.

If you look for a quiet place to stay in Venice without having to carry your bags along the small streets and bridges, this is a fine option.
This Hotel has an exceptional location near the train station.
Nice, clean hotel, family friendly.
You will enjoy it.

We just came back from our trip in Venice. Since we are budjet travelers, so we decided to stay in Mestre instead of central Venice. We arrived at Hotel Paris at like 10am and we were allowed to check in after 10 minutes waiting time. The boss (we guess) who was sitting at the receiption was very kind, he gave us a Venice city map even without asking and told us where we should go and has given many other useful tips and we appreciated a lot! Wifi is for free, but you have to ask for the password every 24 hours. We stayed on the 2nd floor and we still have got the signal but quiet weak. The location is perfect, just right in front of the central station and it wasn't that noisy when we opened the windows. You could still hear something from the running train but you won't bother. The room is small but have everything you might need. Save, fridge, TV, hairdryer, clean towel, shower gel/shampoo (all free of charge). I personally love the color of the room and the furniture they used, lamps and chair are from Kartell which is one of my favorite designers. One thing which has little problem for my boyfriend is that our bathroom is very narrow. There is a "cleaning popo facility" in front of the toilet sit. So if you're a bit tall or fat then I think you should ask for anther room. The housekeeping changed the bath and hand towels every day but not the fitted sheet which was fine for us. On the TV there are lots of Italian programs, BBC, CNN and we actually wanted to watch German TV but they're got just a boring provider. Breakfast provides only cold foods, we had 4 breakfasts over there but only one time we've got boiled egg. Probably they had something left on that day and the next day we've got boiled egg again but they were cold. It would be better if they have hot breakfast like fried egg and sausage as well. In general, the hotel is small but they really have everything you need. The staffs are friendly and warm. So you really feel like HOME. Don't forget to pay 2.1 Euro city tax (per person per day) when you check out and make sure you have enough cash to pay. So we highly recommended you to stay at Hotel Paris, they are worth!

Room Tip: Pay more to get a bigger room! It's depend on your budget of course. :)

Worth to stay when you visit Venice by train. Room rate is reasonable. It is just 5 minutes walk from Mestre train station, about 10 minutes from Venice. Quiet location. New, Clean & Comfortable bed room. I will recommend this hotel to friends who will visit Venice by train.
