“Nice, welcoming and accessible hostel in Venice Area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

Our stay at the Outlet Sweet Venice hostel was at the level of our expectations.
Nice room, well equipped, with welcoming and informed directions to visit Venice, the team of Maurizio and Gionvanna is very effective and warm to their host. No complications, at a few blocks from the train station (you can walk with your luggage, no problem) and accessible easily by bus to the almost most visited city in the world. A real advantage, this hostel is near regular services so you can prepare your day in the City without problem. The place is quiet, charming, modern, nice. Open to diversity.

If you want great accommodation , a great bed and great advice you must stay in outlet sweet Venice . We loved everything about the accommodation and the advice maurtzio gave us great.
You must try the local restaurant that maurtizo advises , the best food of the trip.
Also have a look at Giovanna art, some of it came home with me !! .

This B & B should be rated higher than 5 stars. We have stayed at many types of accommodations and always refer to Trip Advisor when planning our travel. We booked 1 night at “Outlet” in late April 2012 however Maurizio and Giovanna provided us with such "Golden Key" service we extended our stay for an extra 2 nights. We would never have experienced Venice as we did without their "concierge / a la carte" assistance. We had experienced problems with Rail Europe from Zurich so were late arriving but Maurizio waited up for us into the very late hours even going back/forth to the (very close) train station to check for us. Their accommodations are exceptionally clean, well designed, quiet, very comfortable bed, and provided us with more than enough space in a standard room. We would strongly recommend this B & B to anyone (families included)!

Very good place, close to the Island close to the bus stop. Marizio - very good guidman - you don't need guidebook having him :). Only one surprise was the breakfast DoItYourself, in Poland we don't get used to eat toasts with jam everyday, we prefer sweedish table :). Anyway, close to the bus stop there's a very good Pam market where you can buy everythig - very good italian prosciutto, yummmy :)

This B&B is conveniently located near Mestre train station. We were able to drop our bags upon arrival and leave to enjoy a full day in Venice. Living close enough in Italy, I had already been to Venice several times, but Mauricio gave us great new and personalized tips to get the best out of the day.
The rooms were recently renovated and sparkly clean. Preparing and having breakfast in the room was fun!

If we have a chance to go back to Venice, we'll definitely stay in Outlet again. Other than the very clean, well kept and nicely scented family room, owners Maurizio and Giovanna are very lovely people! Maurizio gave us recommendations on how we can maximize our short stay and this included where to shop and nice, cheap & cheerful eats.

Much appreciate your help Maurizio even before our arrival, you were already very helpful. Rest assured that we will certainly recommend your place to our friends.

We travelled from India. The hosts were very warm and provided us all tips and even an itinerary - to start from where and eat what. Breakfast was little disappointing with some rusk and jam. But very good rooms and understanding hosts. But this is not in the island, if you do have more money stay at least one night in the island to feel the mystery of venice in night.
