We spent 6 nights at the Hotel Delfino to celebrate our Silver Wedding anniversary and, as a result of the service received at the hotel, will now have many treasured memories.
The hotel easily lived up to the reviews of other people who have stayed there and was every bit as breathtaking as the photographs suggest.
The weather was pretty abyssmal during our visit so the fact that we had such a comfortable hotel more than compensated.
The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from Sorrento so we were glad we had included a hire car!! It lies just off the coast road so was easy to find - it took about an hour from Naples airport.
As our initial room didn't have a sea view we asked if we could change and were moved within 5 minutes. We had only booked bed and breakfast but after eating in the hotel on our first night, and enjoying it so much, we ate in every night.
The hotel is equally well situated for visiting all the attractions around Sorrento and the Bay of Naples and those on the Amalfi coast. A wonderful holiday in a beautiful situation enhanced by this lovely hotel!

Sept 26, 2007. My wife and I booked four nights at the Delfino and they were trully relaxing. The room was clean and confortable. Breakfast was included and the waiters were a pleasure. Nothing like starting a day with a beautiful view of Capri, could stay there all day long.
The hotel staff was very friendly and very attentive to our request.
The only thing that I regret was not getting a room with an ocean view. That view is just spectacular. Could only do the next best thing, and that was to have a nightcap at the bar that looks out onto the ocean.
Would highly recomend

We had a four day break at the hotel to celebrate our 20th Wedding anniversary. A quiet place with fantastic views good food and reasonable priced.
I would not desciribe the hotel as luxurious but a good standard, good value for money and friendly.

We spent 5 days at the Hotel Delfino in September 07. The hotel was located about 20 minutes drive outside Sorrento which was a bit of a trek. On the plus side for the location it was perched high on a cliff edge giving wonderful views of Capri. However they did offer a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Sorrento. The bus could have been more frequent but none the less was very useful.
The hotel was impecibly clean and the staff were very friendly. Our room overlooked Capri and the hotel offered to organise trips to Capri from the hotel to save you having to make your way to Sorrento to get the boat over.
Despite the distance from Sorrento if we return to Capri I would look to stay at the Delfino again.
