Villa Mon Plaisir is located in gorgeous site overlooking the Salerno Gulf with a splendid view on the Galli rocks. The B and B is on the first floor, inside the owners' house, above their apartment.
The house is located in a quiet dead end street. Parking is not easy but it's possible to park on the main village square.
We stayed 5 nights in the Parthenope room which is a real apartment with a large kitchen (including a pizza oven) and a big terrace which enables us to eat our breakfast outside (except two mornings with a dense fog!).
Everything was perfect. Kitchen and bathroom are cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly. The landlady brought us fresh pastries every morning and cooked some delicious cakes for us. Her husband offered us a bottle of a good red wine coming from his own vineyards on the Sorrento hills. On our arrival, the landlady welcomed us by offering glasses of lemonade and home made cakes. With her husband, she was very helpful by giving us good tips for what to do and what to see.
Our whole stay was a real treat thanks to the hosts' kindness and the real comfort of their B and B.
We recommend this address highly.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Mon Plaisir for two nights over the Easter weekend. Tina and her husband, Jiani, went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful local experience. On our arrival, Jiani picked us up from the rail station and dropped us at the port for a trip to Capri and then collected us upon return. They had booked our dinner at a local restaurant which is highly recommended; the seafood is fresh and ever so tasty.

Under the guidance and help of Jiani and Tina, we hired a scooter from Sorrento and travelled from Massa Lubrense to Ravello. Our hosts recommended sights and activities along the coast that we would never have experienced if we hadn't had local information from our hosts.

The bed and breakfast is located in a small area of Massa Lubrense and offers uninteruppted views and a very homely night's stay. There were many loving touches such as chocolates in the room and freshly baked croissants that made our stay that much better.

An outstanding place to stay and we will definitely be back.

We stayed for only 1 night but Tina went out of her way to welcome and help us.
She booked us in at Vitorrios (only restaurant in the village) and we were impressed with both the food and wine.

Breakfast variety was lovely with the best view of the coast from her terrace.

Our room was lovely with an amazing terrace and view of the sea. The room was comfortable with a fridge, separate bathroom and the personal touches of the little chocolate Easter Eggs and scented toiled paper (!) were much appreciated.

The location is quite remote and we found it difficult to find but being in a car and only there for 1 night we enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the area. We walked into the nearby town (handy for the supermarket) but much preferred it where we stayed.

Thanks Tina for making us welcome in your home – we had a lovely time and will recommend to family and friends.

We expected a view but wow! None of the pics on the net do justice to the view from the private terrace we had. Simply beautiful. From the moment we reached Sorrento, Tina was there to fetch us. We had gotten delayed but she waited for almost an hour. Then she put us in touch with the boat company for our trips to Positano, Amalfi, Capri, etc. right fm Massa. SHe even drove us to the jetty. She baked us fresh croissants on the first day, a delicious cake on the second, got us mulberries and peaches on the next. Once my daughter and I lost our way having taken a wrong bus, Tina and her husband changed out of their night clothes and drove 20 minutes away to fetch us. They even babysat for us once. They were just so great. The only thing that one must keep in mind is that there's not much happening here at night time. But if you have a car that shouldn't be a problem since Sorrento's only 20 min away. Also there's a bus stop couple of minutes from their place.

We stayed at Villa Mon Plaisir for two nights as part of our one week holiday on the Sorrentine/Amalfi peninsula. It is a lovely B&B owned by two of the nicest people - Tina and Gianni. They were so welcoming and gave us lots of information, suggestions and even recommendations for when we moved on to Sorrento for our last two nights. We stayed in the apartment 'Parthenope' which was a great decision as we enjoyed having a large kitchen in which to make our own supper. The balcony was huge with a stunning view of Li Galli islands and the wide sea beyond. When the sun goes round in the evening we popped down and sat in the lovely courtyard below surrounded by brightly coloured flowers. Tina left us breakfast in the room so we could sort ourselves out and there was plenty - it was more continental in style so cakes, pastries, cereal and plenty of coffee. I have had better but that is in a different style of B&B and to be honest we were quite happy having our own space - we supplemented it with tomatoes bought from the roadside on the way. The bedroom was large with big french windows and we had two great night sleeps.

We ate at Lo Stuzzichino in St Agata one night on Gianni's recommendation and it was amazing; they were so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Mimmo the owner was kind enough to drop us back at the B&B after a lovely evening. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a quiet restaurant - remember the Italians eat late!

We did the walk down to Crapolla beach - stunning walk although a bit scratchy on the legs going pass the long grasses and the beach and crystal clear water is worth it. It is very remote and the only people there were a couple of fisherman. Unfortunately there were lots and lots of jellyfish or medusa in the water so we couldn't swim - a bit gutted after a long and very hot walk. Remember your drinking water for this walk as the 700 steps down and back up are tiring but definitely worth it!

We would thoroughly recommend Villa Mon Plaisir as a little gem in a more remote part of the peninsula where there are less tourists, lots of stunning walking, beautiful little villages to visit and plenty of lovely secluded coves. We would lquite like to return to the peninsula and rather than the chaos of Sorrento we would much prefer to base ourselves at Villa Mon Plaisir for at least half of the hols - it was fab. Oh yes and Gianni was so generous and gave us a bottle of local wine, which was devine. Thanks Gianni!!
