The Hotel location is superb. The view from the balcony and restaurant are stunning.
Unfortunately the Hotel shows its age, mattresses are worn the interior design if you can call it that is dated, 1 closet which has not been cleaned in some time and a lovely picture of the fire escape route!!
The bathroom is at best small. Taking a shower is an act and flood's the rest of the bathroom. The fixtures are old and barley functional and you have a bidet to share the shower with (see pictures).
Breakfast and dinner is served in the dining room or terrace weather permitting.
If you have to sit indoors or close to the indoor dining area the persistent humming of the ice cream machine will make it difficult to have a relaxing dinner. On top of that the evening food is very basic and was served cold numerous times during our stay.
Breakfast is ok, except for the fact that coffee has to be drawn from an old 80's style coffee machine which makes a horrible tasting java. Juice is dispensed from a similar device and taste is par with the coffee.
The owners are an elderly couple and like to lie around in the reception area taking naps.
The hotel has potential but is currently not worth a stay. There are nice hotels in the area with only a slightly higher $$$ tag. Considering all the deficits this establishment presents a worthwhile investment to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
