We stayed at Hotel Sant'Andrea for 3 nights during a 3-week vacation to the Spanish, French, and Italian rivieras. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings provided a wonderful vacation from our vacation! We booked their "sea and flowers" package, which included two-story, loft-style accommodations with a sea view, fresh flowers, and half-board (breakfast and dinner). The room was spacious and comfortable, with a gorgeous view from the balcony. (Note: the doors to the balcony must be completely closed for the air conditioning to work!) The gardens are peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of chaises and nooks to sit and enjoy the amazing views of the sea. The free internet service, which is provided in 3-hour increments using an access card, is available in the common areas, including the garden, and also worked on our balcony. The breakfasts and three-course dinners were delicious. The staff were polite and helpful, although there seemed to be some preference for Italian speakers (which makes sense given that it's Italy). Don't expect that everyone here will speak English. A few people on staff speak some English, so we got by on that, hand gestures, and a few Italian phrases that we cobbled together. The local beach is a few minutes' drive from the hotel, but we had a rental car, so it was not a problem. The hotel also offers occasional shuttle service to beach if you don't have transportation of your own. Overall, we had an amazing stay and hope to return again in the future.
