“fantastic location a hotel not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

We stayed in this hotel for a week, to attend a wedding at the castle. The location was fabulous so near the castle, the cable car and better still ideal position for the town and lake. The hotel was very clean, perhaps could be updated but this might spoil the character. The swimming pool was small, but better than none and was ideal for cooling off. All the staff were extemely friendly and VERY helpful especially Alberto. We would and want to go back to malcesine and will definately stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: We had a delux room which included balcony. I think it would always be better to have this.

We spent 6 nights here and it proved to be value for money. Although the standard double room was a little small the bathroom was a lovely size. The room was very clean but basic, the air conditioning was was a god send as it was very hot. The breakfast was good for 4 euros, there was plenty to eat. Best of all for us was the location, just on the edge of the main centre which was busy and bustling but then within minutes we were back to a calmer place.
The staff were friendly and helpfull. The swimming pool looked very inviting but we did not have enough time to use it.

We booked this hotel largely for its proximity to Malcesine castle as one of our wedding party was quite elderly. We could not have been luckier: centrally placed in the town, but away from the crowded areas, simple but clean and air-conditioned rooms, a small swimming pool in full sunlight and a shaded courtyard area,a stunning breakfast - and absolutely charming staff. I hesitate to recommend it ...preferring it as a well-kept secret joy!

I stayed at this hotel twice and always felt like at home.
The owners are very friendly but at the same time professional.
The location is great, close to everything but also quiet for a relaxing stay.
The swimming pool on the terrace is beautiful and well maintained.
I hope I will be there again in the future.

This hotel was perfect. The staff were friendly but unobtrusive. Transfers were arranged at good value for money.
Communal areas were very picturesque, had some large seating areas and a bar.
Our room was clean, tidy and spacious and was cleaned really well each day overlooking the pool and mountains.
Breakfasts were good value for money - not a huge selection but enough and great value.
Pool was cosy but most of the time when we used it no one else did so it felt like a nice private pool.
The location was excellent, just off a main road with no noise and very relaxing and a few streets from the castle, cable car, main supermarket, cash point, shops, a huge range of restaurants and the harbours.
Overall we couldn’t fault our stay, it was really good value for money.

Room Tip: We had a pool side room which had a good view of the mountains but was in shade in the evening

Nice hotel with a good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The basic rooms have no air conditioning so were quite hot so would recommend upgrading expecially in high summer. The included breakfast was all you'd expect for a continental breakfast. Lovely pool area too. Highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesiste to return.
