“Totally worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

A great experience for all the family. There is a bit of a waiting time to board the first cable car (about 25 minutes in Sept), however the trip is still very worth it. Try to find a place near the window rather than the middle part of the cable car so you can enjoy the view. The cabins hold a large number of people, which may at times make you feel a bit claustrophobic.
The view from the topic is wonderful...take time to go for a walk and enjoy some fresh air.
We also dined at the restaurant on top of Monte Baldo and we really enjoyed it...the view was stunning and the pasta was great.

“superb vision of the countryside and lake”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

A really wonderful experience. The cable car rotates slowly as you are moving so that everyone gets a good view. Suggest you get there early as queues quickly develop.
The organisation is very efficient and when you reach the summit there are plenty of food and drink outlets.

“Must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Even if you don't like cable cars you should go up to the top of the mountain here because what you will see will worth all the nuts in your stomach!

“360 degress”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Once you get over the shock of having to wait in a (long) line for entry, the trip becomes pleasant. the first cable car portion is fairly uneventful unless you manage to grab a place by the window facing the lake/Malcesine. But the second cable car, taking you to the mountain top, is lovely: slowly rotating all the way round - lots of picture opportunities. great hikes at the top if the weather is good and for those with strong legs - down on foot all the way to Malcesine. Not for me though!

“Well worth the trip but go early on a clear day.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013 via mobile

The case car to monte boldo is just outside of the old town at the base of the mountain. There are two stages, the second stage on a rotating gondola so you get a view all around regardless of where you are standing. The queue begins to grow after about 10 when the tour busses arrive from all around the region. So get there early on a clear day. There are restaurants at the top and decent flat walks
