“Fantastic find.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2014 via mobile

Came across this restaurant whilst on our travels. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very friendly, especially the waiter Emillio, lovely chap.
The menu was superb and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the mixed grill. With over 40 different types of wine we were spoilt for choice.
Will be returning for sure when next in Lake Garda.

“A jewel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

Occasionally on your travels you will find a jewel, Casa Italia, Malcesine is such a place. The food, the choice of wines and the ambience are all excellent. Don't be seduced by the lake- side choices, make the effort to stroll the delightful cobbled street to Porta Orientale and find this osteria. Enjoy the sun in the courtyard or choose the cool of the restaurant, hewn into the cliff stone. You are assured of a warm welcome even if you omit to tell Emillio that Brian McCartney sent you.

“Lovely restraunt”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

My girlfriend and I had a lovely meal here on our last night. We were greeted and welcomed by a lovely waiter who was very friendly and polite, the food was fantastic and cooked to perfection, they have a very good selection of Italian wine too. We completely 100% recommend this place.

“A Little Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

This is a fantastic little restaurant hidden away in one of the narrow cobbled streets. The food was first class and great value for money. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I would highly recommend searching for this restaurant.

“A Hidden Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

This restaurant is tucked away, and does not have the coveted lake view, but it's well worth seeking out, and it should be ranked much higher than it is in my opinion. We found it by chance on a rainy evening, and we were drawn in by the fact that Italians were dining there, always a good sign. Although the portions were modest compared to some we had in Malcesine, our meals were very good and cooked in an open kitchen, another good sign in my book. The service we received was also very good, and the waiter was willing to share his knowledge of local wine and recommend a bottle that was both enjoyable and good value for money.
