“Lovely location, good value for money family holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

So far one of my favourite holidays.
We took our 3 kids, ranging from 2 up to 13, all of them thoroughly enjoyed it.
The site is very well kept with spaces for caravans, motorhomes and tents or if you wish you can stay in one of their cabins which are basic but quaint.
It is mostly family run and as such there is a nice friendly feel to the place, who are always very helpful. They held a pasta party while we were there which was a nice way for all the guests to come together over a meal and a game of bingo!
Being that it's on the outskirts for Malcesine it's quieter too, so I would recommend renting a car, which is what we did (very cheap at the airport) as the location of the campsite is perfect for exploring Lake Garda and North Italy. Limone is only 20 minutes away and to Venice or Verona are easily reached if you hop onto the autostrada (motorway).
I could tell you too that the views are beathtaking around this particular area of Italy but I think you can probably guess that!
10 out of 10.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Garda Lake in May 2012.
We made a trip around all the lake, we wanted to see it all.
The first step was to Malcesine.
Camping cute with its own beach.
Best to book in advance because it's hard to find place
Defect: on the road and a little disturbed by cars, but very nice.

A great little campsite tucked away from the madness of Riva del Garda. Camping pitches all have power and water. The ground can be a little rocky in places but otherwise good.

Request a pitch on the upper level looking over the lake! Very popular with Dutch and German campers, book early to avoid disappointment.

Showers are clean but there are not too many of them. Having said that, we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a shower.

The campsite also has its own hotel and a pizzeria. The pizzeria is expensive for what it is - and you might want to consider going into town instead - about a 10 min drive into Riva del Garda.

You access the beach via a little passage which goes under the main road - although the beach is small it is very beatiful, especially in the mornings. Popular with locals so get there early.

The campsite shop sells essentials like bread (to order), beer, cheese, milk etc. Not cheap but good if you've run out of anything.

The management also run a little pasta party (FREE) every Friday night for its guests and throw on DJ too.

Watersports are available in nearby Maclesone (5 min walk along the road). Enjoy...
