“A short but wonderful stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

I was attending a wedding at the castle so arrived Wednesday and checked out Friday but had a great stay. Hotel Erika is very clean, welcoming and comfortable. Erika was very helpful from my initial email to booking transfers. The location is great for the town as you are close to everything but just off the main road so no noise.

We were there last week and I wish I were there now!
Magical Malcesine, with this pretty little oasis of calm near everything.
Erika is the perfect host. I love her.
She greets you with a warm welcome, genuinely glad you are there, and is one of the most hardworking women I have ever seen, yet the evidence that she loves this hotel and the work is everywhere. So many details and personal touches to make you feel at home and yet pampered at the same time. We can't say enough. Super romantic city and hotel. It's hard to describe it...I've never stayed in a hotel like this before. We came away feeling like we'd been taken care of by a friend; nothing was too much trouble. AND the pastries in the morning are to die for! The location is great, with parking underground, nearby all attractions, and our room was amazing. Very very clean, shiny, cute and great view. I did not want to leave!
Thank you so much, Erika!

Room Tip: Ask for A/C in the hot months. Not all rooms have it.

Three years ago our daughter got married in Malcesine and we all stayed at the family-run Hotel Erika. We loved it then so we all went back for another week and it’s just the same now – just as good! It’s the personal touches that make this hotel special. From the differently decorated breakfast tables to the transport arrangements Erica will make for you with Luca, a very steady, reliable and punctual driver. The rooms are very nice and nearly all have air-conditioning now, a big bonus in August particularly. Breakfast is excellent too. We’ll certainly be back again in a couple of years. Thankyou again Erica. David and Carol, York, UK.

Room Tip: The most expensive room has a small balcony and a view of the castle

I spent 2 nights at Erika Hotel in Lago di Garda and it was a wonderdelful experience.
Rooms are pretty nice with perfect details which makes you feel at home.

Breakfast is gorgeous! Very nice quality and selections of juices, pastries, etc.

Location is also perfect. You live your car at the garage and you will forget it for the entire stay. Walking distance to almost every interesting points in the area.

But the best of the best at Erika Hotel is the FAMOUS Erika. She is extremely kind and takes care of every detail.
Guests become friends.

I definetly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Lago di Garda.

Hope you enjoy as I did!

Stayed with Erika as a family member was getting married at the Castle. Erika, the accommodation and the location truly lived up to all the previous reviews.
It truly is immaculate, Erika is charming, and efficient, and the whole place has an air of calmness, a true oasis in the maddening heat.
Set back from the main road - there was little or no road noise, but so central and minutes walk away from Mount Baldo cable car, the Castle and the Harbour.
Breakfast was great and loved the way the table decoration changed daily, it felt like enjoying breakfast in a new room every day. The continental selection was vast and held everything you could need, for those who like something hot - boiled eggs were readily available.
Bedrooms, clean and airy with very comfortable beds.
Erika came to our rescue when we needed my partners shirt ironed for the wedding (it got so crumpled in transit). Upon asking to borrow an iron, Erika whisked the shirt away and it reappeared in our room perfectly ironed the next morning whilst we were at breakfast.
Nothing is too much trouble and would defy anyone not to enjoy a stay here ! The personal service and immaculate state of the place, puts a lot of premium places to shame.
Well done Erika and the team - it was a pure delight to stay with you.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Erika for 5 nights for a short anniversary break and to visit our daughter who is working in Malcesine. Erica arranged the extremely efficient taxi transfers from (and back to) Verona airport for us and welcomed us to the hotel as if we were returning friends and a small anniversary present. The whole establishment is squeaky clean and our room comfortable, with a nice shower room, balcony and super comfy bed. The breakfast room is bright and airy with a lovely and extensive selection of fresh produce that set us up for the day.
The hotel is set in a quiet road and is wonderfully close to the centre of the captivating town itself. It really is only a five minute walk to the Castle and the Cable Car station up to Monte Baldo (not to be missed).
Overall a great break in a great little hotel run by a charming lady.

Hotel Erika is the best hotel in Malcesine.
It has very nice rooms, rooms with balcony and rooms with airco.
There is a huge breakfast , all with fresh products every day.
It has very friendly staff that speak several languages.
The hotel has its own free underground car parking.
The hotel has the best location in Malcesine, you can go everywhere by foot and the street is very quiet so you can sleep with the windows open.
It has a very big garden with a lot of loungers to relax.
I will advice hotel Erika to everyone who wants to go to Malcesine.
