On arriving at La Locanda we were warmly welcomed by staff and the owner. Our room was quite small, but bright, very clean and well furnished, with a balcony.
No lifts, so suitcases had to be carried upstairs, and ski equipment had to be carried downstairs to the cellar area.
Breakfast - typical continental but plenty of it.
Ate in the hotel pizzeria every night as the food was excellent and very good value.
The resort itself is excellent for beginners and intermediate skiers mainly. No queuing.
Good bus service to the ski areas and town.
The town has plenty of shops and bars, and is, of course, duty free.
If you want a quiet. well run, friendly hotel, I would highly recommend La Locanda - known by the locals and taxi drivers as 'the Simpsons Hotel' (remember this after a good night out!)
