Hi all just returned from a wonderful trip to Tuscany in Italy .Went there to look at some property and spent a lovely time in the Corona Hotel and her sister Hotel the Park Hotel Regina. .Using them as a base for all our house viewings.You recieve a very warm welcome from Roberto and all his staff.My friend and I spent the first two nights in the Corona with a lovely riverside view the room was perfect, little balcony, but the Hotel is a little tired but perfectly clean room but the entrance and stairway lets it down as carpet very tired and worn.Nice dinning room, food ok nice wine and a very warm welcome, no lift in the Hotel so my friend struggled a bit with the stairs..We then moved to the Park Hotel Regina with a park view not sure if extra paid for the view worth it but the Hotel great and the staff there excelent only dissapoitment both Hotels have exactly the same Menu so having had two nights dining in the Hotel went out the other evenings.Big enough menu at the Hotels and would be possible to find something different for a few nights.The Park Hotel Regina more up todate with a lift and swimming pool but pool was closed up for the winter while we were there but the pool looks very nice.The Regina closer to the other resturants and shops and bars.The staff make up for any short commings the Hotels have and the two staff on the reception at the Regina were really helpful and kind and they even printed out a route for us back to France as we drove there.I hope I have their names spelt correctly Ledian and Doguetta at the Park and the receptionist at the Corina was lovely too but did not get her name, she was great helping me out on the computer which I had to use a lot..All the staff were lovely and the cleaners were very nice and kept our room lovely,fresh sheets and towels every day.Would stay at the Hotels again very enjoyable stay.
