“Great little place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

I've stayed here many times over the years, last in July 2012. The balconies on the first floor are huge, with wonderful views over the Bay of La Spezia to Porto Venere. The breakfasts are great, not sure why some people have commented on poor coffee, I thought it was very good - you can choose what you want - cappuccino, espresso etc etc. Also delicious fresh pastries and breads, and lovely spinach tart. The reception staff are all very friendly and helpful - my little boys especially loved the bowl of sweets which they could help themselves to! Fantastic family friendly beach with beach bar/cafe just across the road. It's a 10 minute walk into the centre of Lerici along the beachfront road - very picturesque. You can travel by boat to Porto Venere and the Cinque Terre from here. In the other direction you can walk along the beachfront road to San Terenzo, also about 10 minutes. Loads of choice for good restaurants in Lerici and San Terenzo. Overall a great find.

Room Tip: First floor rooms have huge balconies - wonderful for sipping prosecco as you watch the sun go down...

With everything booked in the area, I felt lucky to get a room at this small hotel overlooking the beach. My daughter and I found it to be a great central location from which to explore the Cinque Terra, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Basic room, slow draining shower (let's face it, the entire bathroom floor got covered in water with every shower), but very clean and the room air conditioner worked fairly well which was a HUGE bonus considering the outside temperature. Great little balcony from which we saw a fabulous fireworks extravaganza one night. Might be tough for someone not able to do a lot of stairs up to the entrance while dragging their bag. Once in, there's an elevator to the higher floors. Overall, a thumbs up

This hotel was booked for me as i was traveling on business.
i found that the access to the hotel a little difficult and i would say for a disable person it could be impossible
the room had a good balcony overlooking the sea which was just across the road. (the road seemed quite)
The shower was small and did not drain well and the water pressure was low so i was unable to rinse my razor well.
Staff were helpful and supplied a free parking permit for a car park just 200m down the road.
over all i found the hotel comfortable and convenient

Room Tip: all rooms overlook bay

Stayed here a few weeks ago...and was not very impressed. We hadn't booked a room but as was off season and just driving around the coast, decided to stop for the night in Lerici. The receptionist was very friendly and we were able to negotiate a cheaper rate (I think we were the only people staying in the hotel!).
Highlights: Fantastic View, Friendly Staff, Easy and free parking, close to town
Not so Good: Room was absolutely tiny, bathroom was so small the door didn;t even open fully . I'm petite and couldn;t turn around in the non draining shower. Breakfast was abysmal by italian standards (with instant coffee.....sorry that sounds petty but hey its italy and 110eur for the night)

Room Tip: Ask to see it first!!

Easy parking opposite or in the public carpark down the road. Great location and really good family beach with good swimming. Good restaurants down the road, actually both ways. Good spot to catch the boat to Porto Venere etc. Use this place as a base to walk the villages and go by boat. Also a lovely town to walk about in. Rooms are really nice with good decks and I love because there are stairs and not elevators.... though they are there for bags. Breakfast is fine but get your good coffee hit in Lerici. Hotel reception are absolutely fine and helpful. We could have stayed much longer than three days around here.

Room Tip: They all seemed to have good balconies.

Spent 2 nights. Although bathroom had a daylight window, it was terrible: Shower is much too small (and I am very slim), has no drain and a really terrible curtain. Set the whole floor under water in seconds. The water flush in the toilet was out of order and not repaired! Staff was always bugged and rude and makes loud noise every early morning. The only nice thing is the location right at the beach with a great view and the sound of the breaking waves when going to bed. Other things are nightmare-like and overall much too expensive.

Stayed here in July 2008 for 4 nights. A/C was broken and they did not believe us until others complained. We had some discount because of it but it did not help us sleep at night... The room was simple and small but the balcony was as big as the room and had a fab view. We loved the sound of the ocean in the mornings and evenings. Breakfast is poor for scandinavians. Fresh croissants with marmelade is not just enough. Coffee was good though.
