Our four night stay at Villa Giuliana was an absolute delight!! We arrived weary from our long trip from JFK and left refreshed (but sad to leave!!) Villa Giuliana is surrounded by beautiful gardens, fruit and olive trees, truly an oasis in the middle of the bustling area of Lecce!! The rooms were simple, yet immaculate, large and very comfortable. Andrea, our host, was so helpful and generous with his time. He made sure we visited all the right places and made great restaurant recommendations. Andrea's Mom baked homemade goodies every morning, with fresh fruit, cereal, bread.........the BEST coffee, etc.

Lecce, the Old City, is amazing, a true treasure yet to be discovered by Americans.....won't be long!! We have been all around Italy, but fell in love with Puglia and it's wonderful people who are warm and welcoming. Can't wait to return!!

The Villa Giulianna is a First Class B&B with excellent ,clean and modern accomodations and a host, Andrea, who made the stay one that we will not soon forget. Mamma's fresh baked fruit cakes every morning were amazing, the gardens were beautiful and relaxing. It's location made it convienient to Lecce and the surrounding countryside and coast. We'll definately come back.

Of all the hotels and B&Bs we visited on our trip through seven Italian cities, Villa Giuliana, just outside of Lecce, was by far our favorite. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the home cooked breakfast pastries, with fruit grown on the premises, were a delight. Best of all, the B&B's proprietors are warm, lovely people. Spending time with them was one of the highlights of our trip.

We stayed at Villa Giuliana for 7 days in May and toured Salento from there with the car. The Villa is strategically positioned to get anywhere you want to in Puglia and the evenings in Lecce where geourgous! The road from the villa takes you into Lecce in 10min.
The rooms were always very clean, which we appreciated and the breakfast was fabulous!
Andrea and his mother made our stay even more special with their great company! We will miss the breakfast on the terrasse together with them! We will return to this place the next time we travel to Puglia! See you then, Andrea!
