“Fantastic family run hotel spotlessly clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

The staff are excellent and always helpful and pleasant. The rooms are lovely and very clean, they have all the comfort needs you would want. Pleasant garden with secure parking. The enoteca has good wines and local produce

Room Tip: Room overlooking garden with balcony is best

We stayed at this hotel twice in the spring of 2011 and were enchanted both times. In May the back garden was in bloom and ready for a relaxing moment. A nice coincidence is that the owners also operate an "enoteca" next door and will graciously serve you your wine in the garden at no extra cost. One feels pampered, really. This small hotel is a gem. The whole place has been redone entirely less than 10 years ago by an architect who really understood quality materials and interior design. The result is a very comfortable and very well appointed room, a charming dining room where an extensive breakfast awaits you. As a bonus, the back wall surrounding the property happens to be the ancient city wall. It makes for a unique sensation of being in touch with history. The hotel is just a few steps from the lake, in the historical centre. Staff is very polite and the lady who owns the hotel very friendly and eager to recommend good restaurants or excursions. We took family guests there and they too were very pleased. Definitely recommended!

Room Tip: It is a small and quiet town, so all the rooms are quiet, but we preferred the ones with views of th...

The staff were more than helpful and very attentive to our needs. The location is great in the old town and easy access to all thge shops, bars and lake front promenade. The garden was lovely and secure parking.
Only downside was some late night noise from local restaurants but suspect others were worse if located near the front!
