“Group stay, enjoyed it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Four of us friends stayed here as part of a package holiday. It is a pleasant hotel, with nice surroundings, accessing onto the beach. Rooms are very nice, comfortable, quiet and bright. Room balconies look down onto the gardens where there is a lot of bird life. The dining room is large, with breakfast well presented and well managed. Breakfast quality is excellent with lots of choice but coffee and hot food are average. Dinner in the evening is a buffet with lots of choice. Main course is not the best, but Italian starters are very nice. Staff are rather reserved. Drinks in the bar are rather expensive and after the first night we went elsewhere. The local bus service takes you easily to Taormina, a pleasant tourist town.

We stayed at the hotel during our 4 day trip around the Sicily from Malta. It was really nice, plenty of lemon and orange trees around, the smell is amazing. Can't say anything about buffet because we had only breakfasts but there are a lot of restaurants near the hotel where you can enjoy delicious Italian food. The beach is also astonishing especially the view of Etna in activity. The only disappointment was the weather: we were in the middle of May and it was rather cold and windy. Taormina (not far from the resort) is very beautiful. Loved our stay very much!!!

Stayed here on second half of our tour of Sicily. It was excellent. Two swimming pools - one huge. Nice pebble beach adjacent with lifeguards so safe swimming in Mediterranean. Meals were buffet style with a huge selection and wine included. Extensive grounds with views of Mount Etna. Plenty of cafes and shops nearby and pleasant walk to main town or bus ride to spectacular Taormina. Our only criticism was of our ground floor garden room which was very comfortable and well appointed but felt rather enclosed with no proper window and shutter over glass door which had to be kept closed for privacy. Two nice bar areas with live music in evenings.

Room Tip: If allocated garden room, go for an upstairs one.

Lovely location with clean rooms. Extensive buffet for breakfast and dinner. Proteins were overcooked though. The beach was stunning-wear water shoes. The rocks make walking painful.
The Spa was a total waste of time and money. Noisy, sheets were not changed when my friend and I exchanged rooms and the advertised Shirodarq was noisy, messy and lacked the foot, neck and head massage DID NOT happen!

I've stayed in this hotel in July. We have arrived around 1 am, and we couldn't wait to get to our room. It was nice room with big cozy balcony, which has a view over pool and beach. The property itself is place in a huge garden so you are able to enjoy in natural shade of trees by the pool. There are separate kids areas, and 2 kids pools. Also, they have kids club and, as far as I could see, they are very well organized.
Food was great! It had great taste and it was fresh. Waiters were friendly and always in a mood for conversation.
I would always go back!

Just come from this hotel , before we start ,we had a terrible welcome from reception staff did not make us feel welcome . The room was basic in spite of paying for a executive room. We were treated like second class guest, as all the time we were served after other guests who had to pay because they were not all inclusive, there is even a special area for all inc guests at the bar & drinks are served in plastic beakers. On the beach we were only aloud the back row seats on all jnc, also if you would like the beach barbie this coast extra as dose ice cream.Would not recommend this hotel

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel

We stayed in Atahotel Naxos Beach in September 2012. Would advise this hotel for families with children as there are 2 children playground and 2 pools. Small supermarket about 100 meters from hotel was also useful. Very beautiful and well designed garden was perfect to walk around.
Thank You for nice holiday!
