We stayed at the Hilton Giardina Naxos for three nights with a Central Holidays tour group in late June. The hotel is not in a particularly nice area; I would highly recommend staying in Taormina rather than Giardini Naxos. The rooms are clean and pleasant enough, but know that if you are with a tour you will most likely get a view of a wall or garbage cans! Our big issue while we were there was that the air conditioning wasn't working and the rooms were very warm. Several of our group talked to the front desk and were told repeatedly that it was being worked on or that it was fixed. A maintenance man stood up on a ladder and waved his hand in front of the vent and said, "It's OK!" It was not OK. It turns-out that the front desk controls the room temperature and if you leave your sliding glass door open for air, the air conditioner won't work at all. If the hotel employees had just told us the truth and apologized, it would have made all the difference.
