Some interesting history facts for a start: As the plate at the entrance says, Villa Fiordaliso is famous for housing Mussolini and his mistress towards the end of the war, in 1943-44. Since then, it says, it was refurbished in Venetian style, but I must add that it was not overdone and the villa looks very elegant and high class in every way.
The restaurant is, as some reviewers have already mentioned, pretty expensive but absolutely worth of five or even six stars both regarding the quality of the food and the quality of service. As for the prices, they are somewhere in the range or 30-90 euros for different dishes, around 15 for sweets, while the drinks cost from 5 euros for coffee or water to very high charge for the wines etc. So the prices are, in fact, normal for such an exclusive place and of course you can choose your own menu, which does not have to be too expensive, depending on your choice. All in all, this place is certainly a very good choice for a special occasion and well worth the visit. Absolutely recommended!!! :)))
