In a word 'dont' unless you are over 75 and like to stay in a boarding house/situation. Furnishing of rooms is shoddy and food is poor.

The only downside to each day was returning to this place from the many beautiful places we had spent each day in. Fortunately we visit Italy every year and know this is not the norm.

You can have access to the reception safe twice a day (morning or evening only) - no safe in the room and your room key will be left in a dish on the reception desk - with everyone else's and accessible to all who stay there (or dont?). Security conscious -- I think not. However they will place it in your pigeon hole if they need to speak to you about something!

The church bells ring daily at 7 a.m. and noise on the piazza side starts round 5 a.m.

Idea hotel if you are over 70 - not the best of conditions and food pretty bland

This holiday to Lake Garda is Definately the best holiday I have ever been on. The Hotel was lovely. I loved sitting on the balcony and looking out onto the lake. The hotel is great because just 2 minutes walk down the road there is a little cafe right next to the lake and you can swim in the lake too! You can go on Pedalos that are just next to the shops and are a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The shops are very nice (especially the ice-cream shops!)
I thought the staff were very very pleasant. You sometimes see some of the staff out at the shops or sunbathing at the little area next to the lake and they always give you a smile and a wave. The staff who work at the reception are lovely too! My family and I tied 2 Italian flags from our balcony on the night of the world cup and the next morning Umberto ( the owner) came up to us and thanked us for our support. Umberto is very pleasant and always says hello when he passes you in the hotel. I think this hotel is the best hotel i haved stayed in.

Arrived on Saturday 08 July - welcomed by Umberto - made us feel welcome right away.

Good rooms - balcony with lake view - sunshine more or less all day.

Well located for small "beach" and the town centre.

Food execellent although only three choices for starters and main courses - great selection of sweets though!.

Staff - especially waiters fantastic

Would certainly recommend hotel to anyone - would love to go back to hotel and Garda.

Italy won the World Cup while we were there - a great atmosphere - altho understandably our sleep was a bit fitful that night.
