This hotel is situated right on the front of the Lake. We booked through the hotel direct and found them perfect to deal with as they organised transfers to and from the airport. On arrival we were met with a complimentary glass of wine and shown to our room. We booked the Deluxe room with lake view and it was exactly as described, perfect and very spacious. The bathroom was ideal with a large shower and plenty space. Breakfast was very good and served in the conservatory at the front of the hotel. We ate one night at the hotel and the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Claudia at the hotel gave us good advice on day trips. The hotel being at the southern end of the lake is ideal for getting to the trains to Venice (1/2 hr bus journey) and the bus station is within easy walking distance (2 minutes). Everything within Garda itself is within easy walking distance of the hotel. Of all the hotels we walked past during our time in Garda I would say that Vittoria looks the nicest, the staff were wonderful and I would urge anyone looking to go to Garda to consider this one. Thoroughly recommended!

As a note for an excellent day out - we hired bicycles for a day and took a cycle run from Garda along the lake to Bardalino and Lazise which is a nice gentle cycle with plenty cafes and bars along the route.

Had a lovely few days in this charming little hotel on the lake. It has a new yet old feel and the view right on the lake was so pretty. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had dinner the first night there and while the food was good it was not great. The fish was just a little under enthusiastic and the contorni were bland and soggy. The dessert was delicious-choclate mousse and rich chocolate cake. Would recommend this hotel for a couple looking for a short break. We rented bikes and walked by the lake and enjoyed the little town and a super little restaurant nearby. Great spot to enjoy a Garda weekend. Many thanks

Rooms were bright, spacious and elegant, as was the whole hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us, from advising on trips, helping with transport, or just making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Food also delicious. Thank you to all the staff at La Vittoria.

This charming hotel is perfectly located at the quieter end of Garda, yet still steps away from shopping and a wide selection of restaurants. Although, eating anywhere but the hotel restaurant proved to be a poor choice! The food was wonderful, and the romantic ambiance in the dining room was the perfect touch. The staff was friendly, breakfast was wonderful, and the lakefront location was more than ideal. The room was very clean, roomy and comfortable, with a large, lovely bathroom. Would definitely recommend this for a romantic getaway!
