My boyfriend and I booked this hotel on Hotwire so we didn't know what hotel we would be staying in until we booked it! We have never had a bad experience with hotels from hotwire! It was advertised as a 4star hotel and it is far from it! The hotel itself is really old and not in the slightest bit appealing to the eye! Think 1970s office block! The rooms are very average and old fashioned, however they were clean enough. We really wanted a hotel with a pool but the pool water was dirty and freezing so we never went into the water, the area around the pool itself is the only ok part of the hotel. We always had an issue with getting lunch at the hotel. On our first day we were told lunch was finished and our second day even though there was no one else at the restaurant we were given out to for not booking ahead! That annoyed me seeing as we were atleast 30mins walk from the town centre and wouldn't have eaten there anyway if we didn't have to! The food was really average! We only came across two friendly staff- a bar man and one receptionist and always had an issue with the reception when trying to get the bikes that the hotel lend you so that we could get to forte dei Marmi in evenings for dinner! Anything u ask for seemed like such an issue and we kept getting asked loads of questions if we asked to borrow the bikes and always felt really awkward! The hotel wasn't even busy! I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone ever! Horrendous!

If I were coming to a 3 star (at best) I would not be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a 4 star hotel this is far from it, not to mention far from everything....including the main attraction, the beach. Pool closes really early (6pm), wifi is disconnected all the time. Overall would not come back, nor would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel. However they do a good job at keeping their facilities clean.

Hotel Versilia at Forte dei Marmi is a typical mass-throughput beach resort hotel. Quite adequate, clean and functional, but nothing special or personal about it. It won't be central to your memories of the area.

We chose this hotel for its 4 star rating,but found it it be noisy, very basic ,dirty carpets, very indifferent breakfast, coffee almost undrinkable. It made Campamiles positively luxurious. The plus side was that the hotel porter was very helpful and made us feel welcome and there was plenty of off road parking.
