I recently stayed in forte dei marmi and went out for dinner. Just by accident we arrived in the Lobster Bar and Russian Corner restaurant. We first had an aperitivo on the terrace and were very warmly wellcomed. We immediately felt at home! Next we started our dinner and were very much surprised to discover the best pasta with lobster we have ever eaten. The fish is fresh coming right from the sea! All the other dishes were equally of top quality, a gastronomic gem! We went back another evening and again the food was delicious. Some Russian clients sitting close to our table spontaneously expressed their compliments for the Russian food, better then in Moscow! We definitely will go back next time we are in Forte dei Marmi.

In Forte dei Marmi Lobster bar is not just a normal restaurant, it is like a crowded club (Russian corner) that I ever saw. I have been there twice last summer, and at first we start eating at the counter, drinking a cocktail in the terrace, waiting for an available table and next we had all diner standing, because the queue was so long, and we were eating with other 15 people.
You can have there the classic sea food, the Mediterranean fish cuisine, also if a little bit nothing fancy (for istance risotto lobster and truffle). I never experience something like this. Plate after plate of fresh seafood cooked in a basic and sparkling wine or Champagne served iced. Don't miss the best: "lobster au gratin"

Also the last year during our vacation in Forte dei Marmi in having a pleasant walks near the sea we were visiting this restaurant quite often. It gave the impression to be made especially for Ukrainians and Russians. The cuisine of Lobster is very particular and definitely recommended. It was very good when we have visited the place to eat traditional seafood( lobsters, shrimps, crudité), but also to try traditional Ukrainian or Russian dishes cooked a bit on Italian manner were very tasty. For example blins with caviar, borshc, vareniky, stroganov meat are very tasty.
We have been there with some friends and relatives. It is really difficult to remember home many perfect tasty dishes there were. Lots of appetizers: lobster salad, different kind of shrimps, smoked salmon. From first dishes it is very recommended risotto with scampi with black land truffle, pasta with lobsters and citrus.
The variety of seafood is really impressing. But also if you get tired of seafood, you always can have some typical vareniky ( just to feel yourself at home) or order some meat dishes: stroganov meat and lamb with a mint souse are very- very good.
Vine and desserts are separate topic to be honored. Service is excellent. Waiters speak very good English and Russian ( tried both languages). The atmosphere is very relaxed and aristocratic. It really corresponds the spirit of wealthy and quite sea resort of Forte dei Marmi.Very good restaurant to be visited during your stay in Forte dei Marmi.

My mum and I went there without any reservation and they kindly provided us a table. We start with tartare and then I had their delicious lobster risotto (it was an huge one). Lobster Bar offers meet anyway, my mum asked for russian meet ravioli! She said they were gorgeous!
Desser menù was a surprise, we chose a tempting selection of crème brùleè.

Go there if you stop in Forte dei Marmi, can't choose better.
