My husband and I ate here with his parents while we were in Cortina for a weekend of hiking. We did not stay at the hotel, but my in-laws stumbled upon the restaurant during a previous trip to Cortina after biking. They wanted to take us back, and we are so glad they did.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere–very cozy, yet very elegant. It is not in the main area of Cortina. It is about a 15 minute drive from the center. Different servers came to take our orders for different parts of the meal (all of them very nice).
We had the cheese selection for our antipasto (although it's typically a dessert plate). It was very good and fun to taste the different cheeses. The entrees each of us ordered were all delicious. I would recommend every one of them–the deer filet; the beef filet; the bacon, eggs, and potatoes; and the goulash. We ended the meal by splitting the chocolate mousse with mint sauce–a wonderful end to a wonderful meal.
This is such a great restaurant tucked away in Cortina. We would definitely recommend!
