“Great week”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

Had a fantastic stay at Rosapetra over 7 nights. The room was spacious and good value for money, whilst the restaurant was high quality. We found the quality and attentiveness of all of the hotel staff to be excellent, highlighted by the restaurant manager and the front desk staff. The rooms were spacious and beautifully finished. The spa treatmens were good and persosl. The pool and spa area was also very pleasant. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

“Amazing spa experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Absolutely loved this hotel, the only downside is it is a bit out of the central town but as we had a car this was no issue (and they have a shuttle into and out of town if you need it). The rooms were really modern (a suite allows you to spread out your gear), the spa was great but the true standouts were the service and the restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful, from arranging our ski equipment to lessons plus taking the time to explain everything to us despite the language barriers! The restaurant was so good we didn't eat anywhere else for our entire stay, plus the staff there are wonderful especially the female manager who makes a great martini. If you're after a hotel where you can relax and unwind after a big day on the slopes then I can't recommend this highly enough.

Btw - recommend hiring a car while in Cortina. There is a shuttle bus to take people between the slopes and back to town but standing in the cold after a day skiing just didn't look fun for the people that didn't get a car. A car also gives you a lot more flexibility to move around plus leave your normal shoes and clothes in the car in case you want to drop past town before going to your hotel.

Oh and if you're after English tv channels turn to the high 800s. Took us ages to work that one out, should have asked reception earlier lol.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, getting a suite gives you the extra room for spreading out your clothes as the...

“Four star is the new five star”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

A relatively new 4* about 2km to the south of the town center. Brand new in a modern chalet style appointed in excellent taste. But what makes this hotel very special is the 5* level of almost everything in a 4* package. Very personal, attentive service where nothing is a problem. Excellent nouvelle Italian restaurant with a young creative chef (make him happy and take the tasting menu!) -- but make reservations in advance in high season. Same for the spa (which is well done but understaffed in high season). Internet service is terrible but we weren't there to work so not so much of a problem. You need a car but since most come to Cortina by car it's actually nice to be a bit outside the bustle of the town. Anyone thinking Cristallo or Miramonti, forget them and go for Rosapetra. Thoroughly recommend and we will definitely be going back.

“Outstanding hotel on a very good deal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Very modern and new hotel in a very old school ski resort. Rooms might be smallish but they are very very cosy. Spa is fully equiped and the swimming pool was heated to a comfortable 30C. We had the halfboard package and we enjoyed the dinner every night. The staff was very helpful and cordial.

If i had to highlight weaknesses, i would say (a) the location: it 2Km outside Cortina (b) the breakfast buffet was a bit limited (would prefer some fresh fruit).

Overall our experience was wonderful and we are really happy to have chosen Rosapetra to spend Xmas 2012.
