“Fantastic four days in Cortina”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

We were 16 mountain bikers who spent 4 days at the hotel and cycling in the surrounding mountains.

We were made to feel extremely welcome.

Every one was willing to go out of their way to help us. Just some examples:
- We were allowed to keep some rooms until lunch time on the last day so that we could get changed and showered before leaving
- The hotel staff reserved us a pizza restaurant for our Sunday lunch
- Lunch packets available every day
- Rebuilding the bar seating each night so that we could sit in a huge (and very loud) circle.
- Carrying our drinks to the furthest table in the corner of the large garden and then going all the way back for the drinkswe forgot to order the first time.

The WLAN was very good and we could all upload our photos to the Internet at once.

We could not have asked for a better hotel - friendly, well organised and comfy.

While we like to ski, we were here in July, so I can't talk about the skiing. :(
This is an older property but still very pleasant, clean and comfortable. Our room had a small balcony that offered a great view of the surrounding mountains. We ate breakfast here and it was very enjoyable. The property offers parking.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony room.

A well situated hotel with nice staff, good service and nice food. No gourmet food but more than enough if your are a family that is visiting. The rooms were not large but had all the neccesary facilities. There was a good ski and boot storage area.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Spent a wonderful week in February 2012. Though classified as a 3 star, it should certainly be a 4 star. I guess that's why it's such a value. Beautiful hotel, well- appointed rooms, Sandra's friendly staff, & great northern Italian cuisine - included in the half-board option - make it a must for any skier or traveler. What's more, the Hotel Trieste is within walking distance of the popular Tofana tram, and there's a bus stop literally across the street to reach Cortina d'Ampezzo's other fragemented ski areas. Book it now, before it gets it's 4th star and raises its prices!!!
