Hotel Pontejel is perfectly situated being in the pedestrian area of Cortina, so everything was a short walk away for us. Nice and comfortable hotel with a great services, pleasant atmosphere with his own parking in front of it.
I did extensive homework in finding this hotel and i still feel that we got lucky to find this small but charming place, it is one of places where we return without thinking.
This is Family run hotel and owners work very hard to make their guests feel at home and do an excellent job. It´s just great to see this kind of hotel being lovingly operated by their owners. Mr. Barozzi, the manager is very attentive and professional.

Although the rooms are not massive, they are charming decorated in Veneto style, warm, clean and with everything you need and you are right in the centre of the village. Very good continental breakfast, quite a lot of choices, and it overtook my expectations.

Overall, it is one of the most reasonable priced hotel in Cortina, great value for your money.

This hotel is near bus station, just 5 minutes and in the middle of Cortina. Room is very cute, clean and look better than the photo from the internet. Great service. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is very very good. All includes in small price. I love this place.

Rarely do you discover that perfect place that has it all: great location, charm, nice staff, roomy accommodations, clean as a whistle, on sight parking, excellent restaurant...and reasonable prices, only 80 Euros per night which includes breakfast! Honestly, I almost hesitate to write this review as I want to be sure there is availability the next time we visit Cortina! This hotel is a total jewel, impeccably decorated with wonderful Tyrolean antiques and is loaded with personality. Can you tell? We absolutely loved it! We are already considering a return for a longer sojourn. Not to be missed is dinner at the Pontejel Restaurant...we walked all over town looking at menus and decided it would just be easier to eat at the hotel....our dinner was one of the best meals we had during a 3 week trip throughout Hungary, Austria and Italy! My husband is still salivating over their wonderful homemade pasta. We love to vary our accommodations from lavish to austere on trips and take joy in the experience. Throughout our travels, we have taken lodging in the "Ying and Yang" (so to speak) of hotels and B & B's in the US, Canada, and Europe....both of us agree that this place stands out as a favorite among all of our trips! We surely hope to return......

We absolutely loved this hotel! Cute and polite service. The rooms are full of character! Breakfast is great and English is spoken. We were quite taken by this place. Right in the centre of town! Highly recommend. I think we have may have got a discount because of off season.

Second stay at this lovely little hotel right in the centre of Cortina. The family run hotel is extremely helpful and friendly. Parking is available - and needed! - right outside the front door, restaurants and bars are on the doorstep but the best restaurant in Cortina is downstairs! We will be booking for next year!

very good hotel, clean, nice breakfast, very friendly, right in centre of Cortina and half price compare to the rest of hotels around the centre.

Cortina is very expensive, especially in August. This hotel is bang in the centre of Cortina and offers a pleasant 2* B&B stay. Whilst it wasn't luxury it was clean, friendly, convenient and has a fantastic restaurant. There are only 8 rooms.

Our room was on the side and did suffer from some late evening noise, but only if the windows are open and you're a light sleeper (like myself). The staff were incredibly friendly and having booked 5 nights, when we asked to stay a couple more (thus making the magic 7 - which all hotels in the mountains seem to want) they were happy to negotiate on the price without too much prompting.

If you want simple, small and friendly then this place is perfect.
