just do not know where to start, our room was very dated and smelt, the floors were dirty and we ended up with black feet, paint was coming off the walls, the plughole in the sink was rusty, the air con didnt work, television didnt work, balcony railings were very loose and we were frightened to lean on them. The food? well it was either pork or fish, if you had pork one night then it was fish the next, it was always cold except for the soup, which was the best part of the meal. All inclusive drinks consisted of local beer, cheap wine, coke and orange juice and only between 6 and 10. The breakfast was very poor, not even any croissants, all we had was bread rolls, cheese, ham, jam, and cereal, we even had to ask for those to be topped up because they never put enough out. The pool was big but dirty and the steps were coming away. overall we had a very poor holiday here, my advice is 'do not touch it with a barge pole'

Our coach trip turned out to be a disaster from start to finish.All feeder coaches met at Woodall Services. Our coach picked up at 0425am arrived at 0640am and the last coach of 10 feeder coaches at 0905am and we finally departed at 0930am (Some pick ups weren't till 0800 am).A great start - who is the logistics Manager ! Consequently we missed our slot for the ferry arriving in Metz at 1100 pm.There was only room for parking for 1 coach and a different company had already taken this. There was only enough room in the dining room for 1 coach load at a time hence we had a late breakfast and a late start & with traffic delays did not arrive at the Park Hotel until 1000 pm. The coach driver did ring ahead and the hotel said late arrival would be OK but on arrival the driver had to plead for them to put on some soup & salad.The soup was OK the salad was only Lettuce,sweetcorn & carrot -no meats or fish(The hotel restaurant was baking fresh pizzas for the restaurant customers as we passed through). To drink we were offered only cheap wine or water - this is supposed to be an all inclusive deal. The keys to our rooms were given out by torchlight in the car park and on opening the door to our room you could smell the damp.The all inclusive drinks consisted of a local canned beer, a cheap white or red wine,a soapy tasting cola and a can displaying an orange but tasted of grapefruit.These drinks were in a fridge in the dining room where you had to help yourself from 6pm to 10pm. If you wanted anything else to drink you had to get the receptionist to leave her desk. From Wednesday evening they had no ice. Tea & coffee were meant to be free all day. It took until Tuesday before this happened for us as we were asked to pay on the Monday. By Wednesday they ran out of teabags & only had fruit tea left. The meals were the worst I have ever been offered in my many years of travelling with selection & quality very poor. As one passenger commented we were made as welcome as "woodworm in a walking stick".The patio areas outside your rooms were mudded areas and with heavily overgrown.
The journey home went reasonably well until we went to drop 2 passengers at Peterborough and the coach that was meant to pick them up had been and gone.Our driver managed to contact him and he returned but this eventually cost us an hour in getting back to Woodall services for our final leg home.Donn't go to the Park Hotel with National Holidays

My wife and I decided to have a late coach holiday to Tuscany. [8TH sept to 16th sept] We went with Nationalholidays Ltd. and we were given no choice to the hotel we stopped at. It was a disaster from the begining. The drivers did not care about the passengers and they were quite nasty for most of the time, after a trip of over 40 hours this included an 11 hour stop in France we arrived at this hotel at about 11pm on the Sunday night. No staff to be seen we were given keys by the driver who complained all the time and had to find our rooms in the dark. The coach party of 42 passengers were put up in two blocks away from the main hotel. Well next day in the full sunshine this is what we found, the rooms although a decent size reminded me of hotel rooms in Bulgaria in the communist years when I went in 1982. Evey time I walked on the floor my feet were dirty In fact I feel I am doing Bulgaria an injustice because these were far worse. The fridge in the room and the tv did not work,no one even tried to fix them.
The pervading smell in these two blocks was of sewage, Human sewage!! The bathrooms were small and worn out. The pool while large was dirty, the steps into the pool were coming away and quite dangerous. What we were not told was the season had ended at the end of August, No night life, no nothing! Very few staff in the hotel. This was a Nationalholidays all inclusive holiday. It turned out no drinks before 6pm, so 6pm to 10pm the bar consisted of a large fridge which contained 1 type of local beer, local cola [horrible taste] a type of orange/grapefruit can no spirits and the most foul wine you could imagine. think of a £1.50 a gallon wine reduced to 50p a gallon and you might get the idea of the taste. The food was mediocre at its best, the meat was so hard you could of used it for shoe leather My wife had the fish and she never once found it edible. When it came to the table it was luke warm, you got soup and a pasta dish I could not eat any of it. This was every day for the week. The few staff which were there spoke no english When I got home I had lost 5lb thats about 2 kilo. The trips to places like Florence should of been good but the moaning of the drivers spoilt a lot of it. I would advise no one to either stay at this hotel or go with National holidays tours Ltd.

We've just returned from our one week vacation from Tuscany coast. We stayed at Park Hotel Cinquale, and I must say I was dissapointed. Before we booked this hotel we checked their internet site and it seemed to me OK. That's the room I was expecting, becouse we payed extra for the best room. But when we came there the first immpression was very bad. The room was tottally different from the one seen in katalog and on the internet pictures. I don't know where did that picture came from, but our room was from the 15th century. Room was very small (3mx3m). Everything was prehistorical. You couldn't miss the plastic lights in the room. Bathroom was so old that the water from those rusty pipes was brown, the shower wasn't working, so I had to remove the handler and shower directly from the hose. It was shocking to se that. On the floor there were tiles in the whole building, so it was wery noisy, esspecially when those drunk guests came at 4am, walking in high heals on your ceeling. Which also had no insulation I gues, becouse we could here a pencil dropping on the floor (ceeling). Windows and doors were also prehistorical, with no insulation. We barely slept a few hours per night. Dissaster. I don't recommend.

Next thing. The pool. For 100 guests these clumsy Italians have only 20 sunbeds and 10 umbrellas, so you have to be prepared to be at the pool before 7am, and fight for sunbed. Ofcourse, if someone of the hotel staff saw you wandering around the pool, before 10am (official opening time), they start yelling that the pool is closed till 10. In italian, becouse none of them speak english. We were the only english spoken people, and Italians don't seem to bother to help you with that. All they know is italian.

The Food. The whole week was for breakfast marmelade and butter. The kitchen doesn't work in the morning so: no eggs, no soussages, nothing warm to eat in the morning. For dinner you choose from 3 menus. Twice in one week they brought us the wrong dish. When we tried to explaine them, that these isn't what we've chosen in the morning, they don't understand english, and we had to eat "their choice". Terrible. Once a week barbecue dinner by the pool with "live music", which didn't happen becouse speakers were broken. The barbecue was also very "italian". It was so dirty and rusty like it was standing there, by the pool, on the rain for centuries. You don't wanna eat from that.

Another thing. I just could't get rid of the feelig that the hotel stuff was there only becouse they had to be. Not to help us enjoy our holliday. Except for the one lady at the recepcion, which was very nice and willing to help and also spoke a little english. Otherwise unfriendly hotel ambient.

I could go on for hours but pictures speak for them selfs.

I have to give them credits few things which which weren't dissasterous. The rooms were daily cleaned, and towels also daily changed. Nice garden, aroung the hotel. Those were the only two things that were kind of OK. Othewise, very dissapointed, never again to the italian coast. I expected much more for 72 EURO per person per night.

So, we spend most of our time away from the hotel. We went on the beach, they are all private and expensive. From 20 to 60 euro, you get 2 sunbed, 1 chair, 1 small table, 1 umbrella for the whole day. The sea isn't especially clean, but you have showers on the beach. We also went quite a few times to the nearby town Forte dei Marmi (5km). There are hundreds of shops. You name in they got it. Gucci, Armani, Benetton, Zegna, everone is there. Open late night. Town Pisa also isn't far away if you have a car. On the way there you can stop at Mc'donalds.
