This was the most peaceful week we can remember spending. The hosts -- Brian and Antonella -- were gracious, helpful, accommodating and warm. The views at sunset were almost too good to be believable.. If you don't know the territory, it's a challenge to find the property after you leave the Autostrade on the way here, but it was so worth it. Having a kitchen is a super-bonus. Special kudos to Antonella for going out of her way to help us when we developed some minor car trouble. We spent time in Citta della Pieve, Montepulciano, Chiusi and Pienza, all of which were special, but the most special was this unforgettable place. (The property also is set up to be a home base for retreats -- dance, photography, Buddhism, yoga. We were here on our own, but can imagine what a great site this must be for a group program).
